Abstract:
A Registered Jack-45 (RJ-45) connector matching a connector with two light emitting diodes includes a main body forming two light guide posts. Each light guide post includes a first end facing a corresponding light emitting diode, and a second end opposite to the first end. The light guide posts transmit light emitted by the light emitting diodes from the first ends to the second ends of the light guide posts.
Abstract:
An exemplary computer case includes an outer shell and a hard disk drive unit. The outer shell includes a top wall, a bottom wall, and sidewalls interconnected between the top and bottom walls. One of the sidewalls defines an opening therein. The hard disk drive unit includes a cage received in the outer shell and aligned with the opening. The cage is configured for holding hard disk drives therein. The cage includes guiding plates for guiding sliding of the hard disk drives into and out from the cage.
Abstract:
A fastener for mounting an electronic device in a computer includes a cap, a sleeve, a spring, and a mounting post. The cap is mounted to the sleeve. The sleeve defines a receiving aperture and a passage hole therein. The mounting post includes a torsion portion and a wedge portion at opposite ends thereof. The wedge portion is provided with an angled surface. A blocking ring is formed between the torsion portion and the wedge portion. The torsion portion extends into the cap. The spring is disposed around the torsion portion. The spring and the blocking ring are received in the receiving aperture of the sleeve, and the wedge portion extends out of the sleeve from the passage hole. The torsion portion rotates commensurately when the cap is rotated to adjust an orientation of the angled surface of the wedge portion.
Abstract:
An enclosure includes a back plate and a heat dissipating device. The back plate includes a plurality of locking members extending from the back plate. The heat dissipating device attached to the back plate and includes a plurality of fixing members engaging with the locking members.
Abstract:
A disk drive mounting device for use in an electronic apparatus includes a mounting frame, fasteners, and a cover member. The mounting frame includes a mounting plate, a flange formed at a side of the mounting plate, and a plurality of mounting ears extending outwardly from the mounting plate. Each of the mounting ears defines at least one receiving cutout therein. In use, one end of each of the fasteners is mounted on the disk drive and the other end is received in the receiving cutout of a corresponding mounting ear. The cover member is secured on the flange of the mounting frame and abuts the at least one disk drive to prevent the fasteners from disengaging from the receiving cutouts of the mounting ears. A disk drive assembly is also provided.
Abstract:
A card reader includes a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB includes a universal serial bus (USB) interface to be connected to an electronic device, a card interface to be connected to a card, a control chip, and a normally-closed switch coupled in a wire connecting a positive differential pin of the USB interface to the control chip. A length of the wire connecting the positive differential pin of the USB interface to the control chip equals to a length of a wire connecting a negative differential pin of the USB interface to the control chip. The normally-closed switch is operable to be switched on or switched off, so as to control the connection between the card and the electronic device.
Abstract:
A waste heat recycling device includes an air-duct, a fan and a retaining mechanism. The air-duct is connected to a heat air. The fan communicates with the air-duct. The retaining mechanism clasps the air-duct and retains the fan. The retaining mechanism includes a clip and a support ring. An edge of the air-duct is sandwiched between the clip and the support ring.
Abstract:
A Registered Jack-45 connector matching a connector with two light emitting diodes, includes a main body engaged with the connector, and a light guide member fitting about the main body. The light guide member includes two light guide posts. Each light guide post includes a front end aligning with and facing a corresponding light emitting diode, and a rear end opposite to the first end. The light guide posts transmit light emitted by the light emitting diodes from the front ends to the rear ends of the light guide posts.

Abstract:
A circuit board assembly includes a circuit board, a daughter card, and a connecting bracket with a supporting portion. The circuit board includes a first connector and a first position element. The daughter card includes a second connector and a second position element. A first connecting portion extends down from the supporting portion, a second connecting portion extends up from the supporting portion and is electrically connected to the first connecting portion. Two position portions extend from the supporting portion. The first connector of the circuit board is connected to the first connecting portion of the connecting bracket. The second connector of the daughter card is connected to the second connecting portion of the connecting bracket. The first position element of the circuit board and the second position element of the daughter card are latched with the position portions of the connecting bracket, respectively.
