Abstract: An aroma-dispensing tab that is stickable onto any surface, such as an article of apparel, to exude a pleasant fragrance or to function as an insect repellent. The tab is in the form of a sac constituted by a base having a perforated dome marginally secured thereto to define a vented chamber occupied by an absorbent pad saturated by a liquid scent. A layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive on the underside of the base makes it possible to attach the tab to any surface.

Abstract: A collapsible terrarium assembly which is inflatable to assume a desired configuration for protectively housing a plant or other organic material in a controlled environment adapted to promote plant growth or to stimulate organic activity. The structure is constituted by a disc-like base and a replaceable dome attachable thereto by means of a coupling ring. The dome is formed by a flexible plastic envelope whose rim is provided with an annular skirt that is interposed between the coupling ring and the base to define a hermetically-sealed enclosure. The envelope is provided with a two-way valve, which in one position makes it possible to exhaust the air from the enclosure, and in another position to inflate the dome with an inert gas to create a controlled environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods of measuring feet and designing and creating orthopedic inserts are described. A leg length discrepancy of a user is measured and this data, along with foot size are input into a computer. The computer then creates a computer model of a custom shoe insert based on this information. The computer model is then sent to a 3D printer to print the insert. The insert consists of a base insert with partial correction, and several additional layers that are added successively over time until a full correction is obtained. This eliminates any pain associated with a fully corrective insert, and allows the body to adjust gradually to the correction.

Abstract: A compact package for making an orthopedic cast is disclosed. The package comprises a fabric folded and compressed, having an initial over-all surface area, that, when saturated with water, expands to final over-all surface area that is larger by a factor greater than 50 than the initial over-all surface area. The expansion of the fabric occurs during a first time period. The package also includes a water-curable material, impregnated into the fabric, so that when the material is saturated with water, the material cures over a second period of time to become rigid, wherein the second period of time is substantially longer than the first period of time. When the package is used, the fabric impregnated with the material may be immersed in water and expanded. Once expanded and unfolded, the fabric may be placed around a portion of a body for which the orthopedic cast is desired. When the second time period elapses, the material has become rigid so as to form the orthopedic cast.

Abstract: A system and method of conveying offers to a user in which at least one company is registered in a database on a first computer server and offering software is installed on a computer of the company. The offering software calculates a discount offer to be offered by the company and sends it to the first computer server, via a communication system.
