Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for service request (SR) prioritization for intra-UE (user equipment) ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) service and enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) service multiplexing. Aspects provide a method for wireless communications by a UE. The method includes determining one or more transmission resources for one or more service requests (SRs) for a first type of service and/or a second type of service. The method includes determining one or more priority levels associated with the one or more transmission resources. The method includes transmitting the one or more SRs using the determined one or more transmission resources based on the associated priority levels.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may determine a UE. The apparatus may generate a reference signal using a base sequence obtained from a table for a first Radio Access Technology (RAT), the table including a plurality of base sequences that each have a cross-correlation value with a set of base sequences associated with a second RAT. Then, the apparatus transmits the reference signal to a base station. The reference signal may be multiplexed with a data transmission.

Abstract: Aspects relate to scrambling and probabilistic shaping of a signal. In some examples, scrambling may be applied to a signal and probabilistic shaping is applied to the scrambled signal. The resulting signal is then modulated and output for transmission (e.g., via a wireless communication resource or some other communication resource).

Abstract: A communication device receives, from another communication device, a set of transmissions over a sidelink shared channel, or over a downlink shared channel (1005). The communication device estimates a Doppler spread or a delay spread based on the received set of transmissions over the shared channel (1010). The communication device selects a reference signal configuration, from multiple reference signal configurations, based on the estimated Doppler spread or the estimated delay spread (1015). The reference signal is a DMRS, a PTRS and/or a TRS. Finally, the communication device transmits feedback indicating the selected reference signal configuration for a subsequent set of transmissions over the shared channel (1020).

COMMUNICATING ABOUT SIDELINK RESOURCE AVAILABILITY WITHOUT LEGACY USER EQUIPMENT INTERFERENCE

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may identify a set of resources for exchanging, with a second UE, resource availability information associated with a sidelink channel. The set of resources are not allocated to a legacy UE. Accordingly, the first UE may exchange, with the second UE and using the set of resources, the resource availability information associated with the sidelink channel. Alternatively, the legacy UE may receive, from the second UE, a communication on a sidelink channel and determine that the communication is associated with resource availability information for the sidelink channel Accordingly, the first UE may discard the communication based at least in part on the communication being associated with resource availability information for the sidelink channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A transmitter is provided that shapes uniformly-distributed bits into a non-uniformly distributed bits according to a parity check matrix of a linear code such that a product of the parity check matrix and the non-uniformly distributed bits equals the uniformly-distributed bits. Similarly, receiver is provided that recovers the uniformly-distributed bits from the non-uniformly distributed bits through a multiplication of the non-uniformly-distributed bits with the parity check matrix.
