Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to electronic playing cards, each of the playing cards comprising opposing first and second planar playing card surfaces such that, when being viewed by the corresponding player, the first planar playing card surface faces the other players and the second planar playing card surface faces the corresponding player. The first and/or second planar playing card surface can comprise a digital display. Abstract: A processor circuit of a gaming system determines that a game play condition associated with a primary wagering game has been met. Based on a wager amount of a wager for a primary wagering game and a determination that a game play condition has been met, a secondary wagering game comprising a second paytable is executed. Based on a result of the secondary wagering game indicating a winning result, a secondary game is awarded based on the second paytable, wherein a maximum award of the second paytable does not exceed the wager amount. The primary wagering game is also executed, and, based on a result of the primary wagering game indicating a winning result, award a primary game award based on a first paytable.

Abstract: A first transceiver of a gaming device receives a validation request from a mobile device. The gaming device determines that the mobile device is authorized to provide remote input to the gaming device and provides a token to the mobile device. A signal strength threshold for a second transceiver of the gaming device is modified from a first signal strength threshold associated with a first distance between the second transceiver and the mobile device to a second signal strength threshold associated with a second distance greater than the first distance. The second transceiver receives a remote connection request from the mobile device. In response to determining that the remote connection request meets the second signal strength threshold and that the remote connection request comprises the token, the gaming device allows the mobile device to provide remote input instructions to the gaming device.
