    Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for suspending/resuming NAS signaling in a wireless communication system. Specifically, a method for a user equipment (UE) to suspend/resume non-access stratum (NAS) signaling connection in a wireless communication system comprises: a step in which when a NAS layer of the UE receives, from a radio resource control (RRC) layer, an indication that RRC connection is suspended, the UE enters an evolved packet system (EPS) mobility management (EMM)-idle mode involving a suspension indication; and a step in which when a procedure using a first NAS message is triggered, the RRC layer of the UE is requested to resume the RRC connection, wherein the request comprises a cause of RC establishment and a call type, and when the UE is in a narrow band (NB)-S1 mode, the request may further comprise data volume information of the first NAS message.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method for performing V2X communication in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for the same. Specifically, a method for performing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes: receiving a transmission request of a V2X message of a V2X service identified by a V2X service identifier from an upper layer by using V2X communication through a PC5 interface, the transmission request including the V2X message and the V2X service identifier; requesting or selecting a resource for the V2X communication through the PC5 interface to a base station based on whether the UE is serviced by an evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) for the V2X communication; and transmitting the V2X message through the PC5 interface by transferring the V2X me3ssage to a lower layer, and when mapping between the V2X service identifier and a transmission parameter is configured, the transmission parameter associated with the V2X service identifier may be transferred to the lower layer together with the V2X message.

    Abstract: When a specific case occurs, user equipment can initiate a tracking area update (TAU) step by transmitting a TAU request. If the user equipment is using a control plane connection for the transport of user data when a radio resource control (RRC) connection failure occurs and there is no pending signaling or uplink user data, the specific case can be applied to a case in which it is indicated, to a network, that downlink data reception subsequent to the uplink data transmission is predicted.
