Abstract: The present invention is related to a liquid crystal lens. The liquid crystal lens may comprise a plurality a liquid crystal lens units. At least one of the plurality of liquid crystal lens units may comprise a first substrate, a second substrate opposite the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a scattering member on the first substrate at an edge of the liquid crystal lens unit. The scattering member may be configured to scatter crosstalk light at the edge of the liquid crystal lens unit.

Abstract: A three-dimensional display device and method are provided. The display device includes a display panel emitting light including first and second components, wherein polarization directions of the first and second components are different first and second directions, respectively; first and second lenticulations configured to split the first and the second components, respectively, and to converge light rays in the first and the second components to first and second viewpoints, respectively, wherein the first and the second viewpoints are in first and second planes, respectively, and distances between the first and the second planes and the display panel are different; and a light selectively-transmissible layer configured to operate in first and second states, wherein in the first and the second states, the first and the second components transmit through the light selectively-transmissible layer, respectively.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display apparatus and a three-dimensional display method thereof. A via hole at least passing through a base substrate is formed in an array substrate of a liquid crystal display panel, and a signal line on an upper surface of the array substrate can be connected with a driving chip bonded onto an electroluminescent display substrate, through the via hole on a lower surface of the array substrate and through a conductive material in an optical clear adhesive. A signal line on the electroluminescent display substrate also can be connected with a driving chip bonded onto an upper surface of the array substrate, through the conductive material in the optical clear adhesive on a lower surface of the array substrate and through the via hole.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide an optical modulator, a backlight module and a display device. The optical modulator includes a first level modulation unit, a second level modulation unit and a third level modulation unit arranged in sequence. The first level modulation unit is a converging element for converging a light beam emitted from a light source. The second level modulation unit is a collimating element for converting the light beam from the first level modulation unit into a collimated light beam. The third level modulation unit is a redirecting element for converting the collimated light beam from the second level modulation unit into a vertically emitted light beam.

Abstract: A 3D display device and a method of driving the same are disclosed in the present disclosure. An electroluminescence display panel instead of a conventional backlight module is adopted to be arranged behind the liquid crystal display panel. In the 3D display mode, light emitting areas and black areas alternately arranged in both the row direction and the column direction are formed in the electroluminescent display panel, so that an abnormal grating structure is formed. In the 3D display mode, the first sub-pixels corresponding to the same light emitting area are controlled to display different gray level information so that the left and right eyes of a person located at two viewpoints receive an image of different gray level information. Therefore, stereoscopic vision is created and a naked-eye 3D display at the sub-pixel level is achieved.
