摘要： Opposed walls of three hingedly attached grid walls are secured to one another by a first strap having folded back ends for partially encircling a segment of a wire element of each opposed grid wall. A second strap is placed adjacent the first strap with the ends of the second strap bearing against the partially encircled wire elements to retain the wire elements within the respective folded back ends. Nylon ties or bolts may be used to secure the first and second straps to one another. Two or more pairs of first and second straps support a grid wall serving as a shelf and the shelf may be secured to the straps by pairs of nylon ties. To provide mobility to the display rack, fixed or pivotable wheels are supported by the lowermost pairs of first and second straps and may be secured thereto by nylon ties or by nut and bolt combinations. A billboard unit having four panels is formed by two three-segmented panels placed orthogonally upon one another to permit upward bending of the pairs of outer panels. A slide having two orthogonal channels interconnect with and retain adjacent edges of the upwardly bent panels. The billboard unit may be secured in place at the top of the display rack with nylon ties. To disassemble the display rack, each nylon tie is snipped to permit removal of the elements of the display rack and the first and second straps a re disengaged from one another, whereby the display rack is quickly dismantled for storage and/or transport.

摘要： A ratchet includes a spool rotatably disposed within a housing and supporting a cord having opposed cord sections extending from the housing. Tension to one cord section is initially applied by pulling on the other cord section. To increase the tension, a tool is engaged with the spool to apply a further force to increase the tension on the one cord section. In another embodiment, a cord enters the housing and into the center of a hollow shaft supporting a spool and drawn through the hollow shaft to establish an initial degree of tension on the section of the cord entering the housing. A lever cooperating with the spool turns the spool to wrap the cord about the spool and increase the tension on the cord. In a third embodiment, a cord enters a housing and extends about a spool supported within the housing and thereafter exits the housing. A pivotable lever incrementally rotates the spool to increase the tension on the cord entering the housing. To further increase the tension on the spool, a wrench or the like may engage the shaft supporting the spool in any of the ratchets described.

摘要： Apparatus for flow prover precisely measures the volume and the flow rate of a fluid through a cylinder. The prover includes a piston within a cylinder supporting a shaft extending longitudinally through the cylinder, which cylinder receives and discharges the fluid by translation of the piston from the fluid receiving end to the fluid discharging end. Motive means draws the shaft and piston toward the fluid receiving end of the cylinder. Travel of the piston in the direction from the fluid receiving end to the fluid discharging end of the cylinder is sensed at discrete locations to provide an indication of the volume of fluid therebetween and the related flow rate. Each of a plurality of emitter/detector modules provides piston position sensing signals reflective of the volume and rate of fluid flowing through the cylinder. A switch bar rigidly and permanently fixes the position of the emitter/detector modules with respect to the piston and with respect to one another. An immovable gate or aperture regulates the cross-section of the light beam striking the detector and ensures that the measured volume is repeatable and cannot be altered due to external factors such as in-field use, service, maintenance on components or the like.

摘要： A prover mounted upon a supporting lower framework includes a piston supporting rod extending longitudinally through a cylinder, which cylinder receives and discharges a fluid to measure the flow rate of the fluid by translation of the piston from the fluid receiving end to the fluid discharging end. Motive means supported on a frame mounted on the lower framework draws the rod toward the fluid receiving end of the cylinder. Upon such movement of the rod, a poppet valve formed as part of the piston opens to permit fluid flow through the piston. A clutch serving as part of the motive means permits travel of the piston from the fluid receiving end to the fluid discharging end of the cylinder and serve the flow rate measuring function of the prover. An upper framework is attached to the lower framework through a plurality of stanchions. Various I-beams formed as part of the upper framework enhance rigidity to the combination of lower framework and upper framework. The combination of lower framework and upper framework provides support for the prover in a horizontal or a vertical orientation without affecting the operation, repair or maintenance of the prover.
