Abstract:
A system for dampening an opening motion of a door includes a frame, an access door and at least one dampening member. The access door is rotatably secured to the frame. The access door is configured to be moved with respect to the frame between closed and completely open positions. The at least one dampening member is secured to the access door or the frame. The dampening member(s) dampens movement of the access door toward the completely open position over a range of motion.
Abstract:
A device for fast displacement of the position in height of a shelf within a refrigerating cell of an electrical household appliance, such as a refrigerator or freezer, includes elements for the coupling with respective guides for supporting the refrigerating cell arranged in a plurality of positions fixed in height within the refrigerating cell itself and adjustment elements set between the coupling elements and respective opposite lateral sides of the shelf for selective displacement of the shelf between a first position and a second position, set at different heights, with respect to the coupling elements; in this way, the resting shelf can be coupled in use with a pair of guides set at a selected height in the refrigerating cell and can be displaced between two different heights with respect to that of the pair of guides simply by pushing the shelf itself upwards.
Abstract:
An opening device with a handle for a door of an electric household appliance, which door rotates about a hinge axis between an open position, and a closed position wherein the door rests, with the interposition of a peripheral seal, against a front edge of a door opening of the electric household appliance; the device includes: a support fixed to the door, close to the front edge of the door opening; the handle, which is fitted to the support to rock in opposition to elastic elements, so as to be positioned, in use, to the front of the door and at a predetermined distance from an outer surface of the door; and elements which, in use, exert thrust on the front edge of the door opening to detach the door from the door opening and rotate it into the open position, when the handle is rotated towards the outer surface of the door, so as to open the door by pushing on the handle; an optional spring completes rotation of the door about the hinge axis.
Abstract:
A closing device for the door of an electronic household appliance has a latch fitted to the door to rotate, in opposition to an elastic element, about an axis of rotation, and to cooperate with a catch fixed to the electric household appliance. The latch activates a switch device disabling operation of the electric household appliance when the door is open. The latch has, in an eccentric position with respect to its axis of rotation, a first constraint member for the elastic element, and a second constraint member which is fitted integrally to the door. The elastic element is extensible along a work axis connecting the first and second constraint members and lies at all times in a plane perpendicular to the plane containing the axis of rotation of the latch. The latch selectively assumes, by virtue of the elastic element, a first position and a second position, in which it does not directly activate and, respectively, does directly activate the switch device, and in which the work axis is located above and, respectively, below the axis of rotation of the latch.
Abstract:
A service device for a refrigerator having a refrigerating chamber, the device having an electric circuit portion and a mechanical portion. The electric circuit portion is connectable to the refrigerator outside the refrigerating chamber, and the mechanical portion is at least partly insertable inside the refrigerating chamber and cooperates with the electric circuit portion.
Abstract:
A device for controlling an electric appliance having a door, a main power circuit, and a switch for automatically shutting off the main circuit when the door is opened the switch is a reactivatable magnetic switch, which selectively assumes a closed position and an open position respectively closing and opening the main circuit. The magnetic switch is powered by an activating circuit, which is cut off when the door is opened and a movable part of a hinge supporting the door is rotated. When the activating circuit is cut off, the magnetic switch is moved into the open position by the actin of a spring which keeps the magnetic switch in the open position even when the activating circuit is closed again. The user, after closing the door, must reactivate the magnetic switch by pressing a push-button to move the magnetic switch into the closed position.
Abstract:
A light-bulb holding device for household appliances in general, and for refrigerators or freezers in particular, comprises a board structure equipped, at a first end, with a sleeve for accommodating a stem portion of a light bulb and, at a second end, opposite to the first end, with a longitudinal slot within which is mounted, in a freely slidable mode, a switch stem which interacts so as to strike, under the action of a biasing spring, with a pair of electrical contacts defined means of respective metal tabs carried laterally by a first lateral surface of the aforenoted board structure and projecting from it in a perpendicular direction. The stem is equipped with a head which projects from the slot and the board structure is equipped, on the first surface and on a second lateral surface opposite to the first surface, with opposed attaching means for, respectively, mounting and electrically connecting a thermostat and a multiple power supply connector.
Abstract:
A decelerating device includes a casing defining internally a chamber filled with a viscous fluid, e.g. silicone oil; and a movable member fitted in fluidtight manner to the casing, so as to be housed at least partly inside the chamber and immersed in the viscous fluid. The movable member has a partition for dividing the chamber substantially in fluidtight manner into at least two adjacent portions varying in volume as a function of the position of the movable member with respect to the casing; and a calibrated constriction for maintaining permanent hydraulic connection of the at least two adjacent portions of the chamber, so that the viscous fluid flows between the chamber portions as a consequence of relative motion between the movable member and the casing.
Abstract:
A drawer container device that can be inserted in a refrigerated cell to define a separate compartment, including at least a shelf provided with mating elements with the respective side walls of the refrigerated cell in a first position such as to define, immediately below the shelf, a first predetermined volume and at least one cup-shaped drawer delimited by at least one side wall placed transversely to the shelf and located in a position beneath the shelf with its concavity facing the latter, the shelf being selectively moveable between the first position and a second position located at a different height from the first and in which the shelf delimits a second predetermined volume beneath itself; the side wall of the drawer being defined by a pair of adjacent elements sliding relative to each other and placed parallel to and at least partially facing each other; regulating elements of the pin-and-groove type being interposed between the relatively sliding elements to selectively position them such that the side wall substantially occupies the entire height of the first and second predetermined volumes; in this way, the volume of the compartment can be varied by simply lifting the side wall of the drawer and the above shelf.
