    摘要: A high speed aircraft generator utilizes a resistor bobbin to constrain field leads from radial displacement during operation of the generator. The resistor bobbin is provided with passages through which the field leads are passed. The passages are parallel to an axis of the generator. The resistor bobbin thus serves two purposes in the generator; its normal function of supporting a resistor coil and a second function of constraining field leads. The field leads have a round cross-sectional configuration. The field leads are attached to flat conductors of a field coil with a unique brazing clip.

The valve closure mechanism includes a pulley, a load plate, a cable, and a spring. The pulley is coupled to a valve element is the outflow valve and is configured to eccentrically rotate therewith. The cable has a first end coupled to the pulley, and a second end coupled to the load plate. The spring is disposed between the valve and the load plate and surrounds a portion of the cable.     摘要: A relatively compact, lightweight outflow valve assembly includes suitable redundancy features that allow the valve assembly to meet regulatory requirements for certain postulated single point failures. The valve assembly includes a valve body that is constructed at least partially of a non-metallic material and has an outer surface and an inner surface that defines a flow passage having at least two flow ports. A sleeve is disposed within the valve body flow passage that is constructed at least partially of a metallic material. The sleeve has a flow passage formed therein that is in fluid communication with the valve body flow passage flow ports. A valve element is disposed within the sleeve flow passage and is moveable between at least an open position and a closed position. A plurality of brackets is mounted on the valve body outer surface and is coupled to the sleeve. When the valve assembly is installed in an aircraft, the plurality of brackets further couples the sleeve to the aircraft fuselage.

The lubricating and cooling medium may be supplied to the generator on either end of the housing. A portion of the medium is supplied to the generator bearings. The remaining portion then flows through the rotor shaft, through the rotor, back to the shaft, where a portion may be sprayed onto the rectifier assemblies, then passed through the stator, and out of the generator.
