摘要： A universal hinged tread system includes a folding stair set with one or more primary treads. At least one auxiliary tread is hingedly attached atop at least one primary tread. The folding stair set includes at least two hingedly attached sections. The hingedly attached sections fold flat against each other when in a stowed position, and every other folding stair section is inverted when in the stowed position. Each auxiliary tread is angularly displaced from its primary tread as its folding stair section is inverted. The auxiliary treads do not obstruct any primary treads on other sections when in a stowed position. The auxiliary treads include a beveled lower front edge to aid the auxiliary treads in deflecting.

摘要： A system and method quickly and effectively display battery status and/or other parameters of a portable electronic device. In one embodiment, a method displays parameters of a portable electronic device in a power-off state by storing a plurality of user-definable settings in response to a power-off condition. In addition, the method detects an activation of a status input, and in response applies power to a display, and displays a status of the stored parameters on a display, while maintaining operational logic of the personal electronic device in a power-off state. In another embodiment, a method displays a current battery-power status of a portable electronic device, while in a power-off state. This method retrieves a battery-power status that was previously measured and saved. Using this retrieved information, along with a measured amount of time since the information was measured or saved, method determines the current battery-power status.

摘要： A table may include a table top and one or more legs and the legs may be movable between an extended or use position and a collapsed or storage position. The table may include one or more cross bars and the legs may be attached to the cross bars. The table may also include a frame and the frame may include one or more side rails. The cross bars may be sized and configured to engage at least a portion of the table frame with a generally rigid connection when the legs are in the extended position and a loose connection with the legs are in the collapsed position. In addition, the table may include one or more connecting members that may be disposed towards the ends of the table. Advantageously, the connecting members and/or cross bars may securely support the table top and help prevent the table top from undesirably twisting or deforming if a load or force is applied to a portion of the table top.

摘要： An improved corner pad for sealing the bottom corner of a closed door has a sloped upper surface that forms a reservoir between the closed door and the jamb. Rainwater that is blown up the weather strip by wind is collected in the reservoir until the wind subsides, whereupon the water simply drains out. As a result, leakage into a dwelling at the bottom corner of the entryway is managed and contained.

When the table top is in the unfolded position, movement of the leg assembly towards the use position may move the cross member towards the overlapping and/or interlocking portions, which may move the overlapping and/or interlocking portions towards each other. When moved towards each other, the overlapping and/or interlocking portions may be securely connected.
