摘要:
Gel detergent compositions which pile-up on a surface, upon dispensing, to minimize the spreading of the gel to a substantially larger area. The gels that can pile up are less messy to use and provide better stain removal, since more detergent is concentrated on the desired area of fabric (e.g., the spot). The composition comprises from about 10% to about 35% of a surfactant, from about 0.1 to about 5% of a non-neutralized fatty acid; from about 50 to about 85% of water; with the total of anionic surfactants selected from soap, linear alkyl benzene sulfonic acid, primary and secondary alkyl sulfates being more than 50% of total surfactant level.

A process for preparing B-lactam derivatives of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents hydrogen or a metal salt; and R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, acetoxy methyl, (2,5-dihydro-2-methyl-6-hydroxy-5-oxo-as-triazin-3-yl)thiomethyl or (1-methyl-1-H-tetrazol-5-yl)thiomethyl is disclosed. This process comprises the steps of (a) reacting triphenylphosphine and hexachloroethane or carbon tetrachloride with 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-syn-methoxyimino acetic acid in an organic solvent to give the corresponding acyloxyphosphonium chloride derivative of the formula: ##STR2## (b) acylating a previously silylated derivative of 7-ACA with this acyloxyphosphonium chloride derivative without its isolation.

A customer queue control system for an establishment having a plurality of customer service stations utilizes a main queue and a plurality of local queues, and includes a detector to detect the presence of a customer at the head of the main queue, keys at each service station to signify the status of that station, a voice message device to direct a customer at the head of the main queue to a local queue selected to provide the probable minimum waiting time, and a data processing system for controlling the voice message device in accordance with the presence of a customer in the main queue, the number of customers in each local queue, the status of each local queue, and the probable service delay time per customer in each local queue.
