An object of the present invention is to provide an aluminium foil having a plurality of through holes and a desired foil strength, and a manufacturing method thereof. The high-strength perforated aluminium foil of the present invention includes a plurality of through holes extending from a front surface to a back surface of the foil, and has: (1) a foil thickness of 50 μm or less; and (2) a tensile strength of [0.2×foil thickness (μm)] N/10 mm or more. The method of manufacturing a high-strength perforated aluminium foil of the present invention is characterized in that a perforated aluminium foil having a plurality of through holes is either embossed, or simultaneously stretched and bent.
