    摘要: A system for enhancing eye gaze in a telepresence system includes a plurality of local cameras coupled to at least one local display. Each local camera is directed to at least one respective local user section and operable to generate an image of the respective local user section. The system also includes a plurality of remote displays. Each remote display is operable to reproduce the local video image of the local user section. Within the system the plurality of remote displays and the plurality of local cameras are aligned such that when a first local user within a local user section looks at a target at least one remote display is operable to reproduce the local video image of the first user section comprising the first local user such that the eye gaze of the reproduced image of the first local user is directed approximately at a corresponding target.

The system further includes a plurality of local displays. Each local display is operable to reproduce the image of a respective area generated by a respective remote camera. The system also includes a plurality of local loudspeakers. Each local loudspeaker is positioned proximate to a respective local display and operable to reproduce the sound signal from the voice of the at least one user within the respective area reproduced by the respective local display.

The method comprises receiving session data that comprises endpoint connection data for remote endpoints associated with scheduled conferences, and receiving a signal from a user interface indicating a user has activated a control associated with a selected conference, identifying the endpoint connection data for the remote endpoint associated with the selected conference, and establishing a media session with the associated remote endpoint. A video conference endpoint system also is provided. The system comprises a controller coupled to a memory, and a user interface coupled to the controller. The user interface includes a command button associated with a conference. The controller periodically receives session data associated with the scheduled conferences, stores the session data in the memory, and establishes the selected conference in response to a user activating the command button.
