摘要： A vehicle terminal apparatus has a connection monitoring unit for monitoring a disconnection of a communication link between a wireless communication device and a portable terminal, considering an abnormal disconnection of the communication link as a link loss, considering a disconnection of the communication link by a disconnection process by the wireless communication device as a first disconnection, and considering a disconnection of the communication link by a disconnection process, by the portable terminal as a second disconnection; and a connection condition determination unit for determining a wireless connection condition of the wireless communication device based on a disconnection reason that accounts for a reason for disconnection and a pre-disconnection call condition that is a call condition of the portable terminal immediately before the disconnection when the disconnection of the communication link is detected by the connection monitoring unit. The vehicle terminal apparatus determines a recovery process of the communication link by appropriately considering the user convenience.

摘要： Conventionally, different traffic information cannot be sent in accordance with an output reason of a request to send. According to the present invention, a request to send traffic information, which is output in response to an instruction given by a user operation or an automatically given instruction, is acquired, an output reason of the request to send is determined, and a communication unit is controlled so that the traffic information on different areas is sent depending on the cases where the output reason is the instruction given by the user operation or the automatically given instruction.

摘要： An in-vehicle device includes: a communication element; a coupling element for coupling and decoupling between the in-vehicle device and a cell phone via the communication element; a hard disk drive for storing a telephone directory data; an incoming call notification element for notifying a passenger about an incoming call, accessing the telephone directory data, and notifying individual information of a caller; a high altitude decision element for deciding whether the vehicle is disposed in a high altitude area; and a switching element for setting the hard disk drive in an off-mode when the vehicle enters into the high altitude area, and for setting the hard disk drive in an on-mode when the vehicle passes through the high altitude area. The incoming call notification element stops notifying the incoming call and the individual information when the hard disk drive is in the off-mode.

摘要： If a cellular phone with which a communication link is established is compliant with PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile), an in-vehicle navigation apparatus with a handsfree function stores and arranges, in a work memory device, phone book data transmitted automatically from the cellular phone. Thus, the newest phone book data can be made available. On the other hand, if the cellular phone is not compliant with PBAP, the in-vehicle navigation apparatus stores and arranges, in the work memory device, phone book data, which are presently stored in a storage memory device. Thus, if the presently stored phone book data, which are not newest, are desirable, they can be made available.

摘要： An in-vehicle hands-free phone system includes: a base station; a portable terminal that is wirelessly connected to the base station; and an in-vehicle device that includes: an information acquisition portion that acquires information about a portable terminal that is connected to the in-vehicle device; a storage portion that stores a number sequence whose intermediate portion includes a predetermined code; and a tone sending-out control portion that sends the number sequence stored in the storage portion to the portable terminal and causes the portable terminal to send out the number sequence in a tone. The tone sending-out control portion determines a tone sending-out behavior about a number sequence part that is subsequent to the predetermined code on the basis of the information acquired by the information acquisition portion.
