Abstract: A fastener system for securing a component to a structure is provided. The system includes a pin portion and a clip portion. The pin portion has a head and a shaft. The clip portion has a head engagement flange and a retainer flange configured to receive a fastener that extends along a first axis. The clip portion and the pin portion are configured for engagement with one another in an engaged position, and in the engaged position the pin portion shaft extends along a second axis non-parallel to the first axis.

Abstract: An angled face cap probe includes a housing having a radially inner end and a radially outer end, defining a cavity, and configured to be located radially outward from an airfoil. The angled face cap probe further includes a sensor located in the cavity at the radially inner end of the housing, having a sensor body with a sensing face that is angled to match or substantially match an angle of a radially outward face the airfoil, and having a sensor flat that is elongated in a first direction. The angled face cap probe further includes an outer cap located in the cavity, coupled to the housing, and having an outer cap main body and cap legs that extend radially inward from the outer cap main body to interface with the sensor flat to resist rotation of the sensor relative to the housing.

Abstract: An airfoil includes an airfoil section that has an airfoil wall that defines a leading end, a trailing end, and first and second convex sides that join the leading end and the trailing end. The first and second convex sides span in a longitudinal direction between first and second ends. The first and second convex sides define lateral bounds of an internal core cavity, and the first and second convex sides converge toward each other at each of the first and second ends such that the internal core cavity constricts at the first and second ends. A multi-piece baffle is disposed in the internal core cavity and has a shape that is complementary to the first and second convex sides.

Abstract: A heat exchanger duct includes a wall having ends spaced along a central axis. An inlet manifold is positioned within a downstream portion of the duct at a radially outward location. An outlet manifold is positioned within an upstream portion of the duct at a radially outward location. At least one of the inlet and outlet manifolds extend at least 10 degrees around the circumference of the duct. A central manifold is disposed between the inlet and outlet manifolds, and radially inwardly of the inlet and outlet manifolds. Heat exchanger entrance elements extend radially inward from the inlet manifold to the central manifold, and heat exchanger exit elements extend radially outward from the central manifold to the outlet manifold. A gas turbine engine is also disclosed.

Abstract: A hydrostatic seal assembly includes a primary seal assembly configured to maintain a selected gap between the primary seal and a rotating component, and a seal carrier. The seal carrier includes a radial outer wall, an axial wall extending from the radial outer wall at a first axial end of the radial outer wall, and a carrier arm extending from the radial outer wall at a second axial end of the radial outer wall opposite the first axial end. The carrier arm is secured to a static structure for sealing between the rotating component and the static structure.
