Abstract:
A monitoring video camera has a mounting bracket, a lens assembly, a light assembly and a transparent shell. The mounting bracket has a bottom surface. The lens assembly is mounted on the bottom surface of the mounting bracket and has a primary bracket and a lens. The primary bracket is rotatably mounted on the mounting bracket. The lens is mounted on the bracket. The light assembly is mounted on the primary bracket and has multiple springs, a light control PCB and a lens shade sleeve. The springs are connected between the light control PCB and the primary bracket. The light control PCB has multiple LEDs. The springs maintain a tight contact between the inner surface of the transparent shell and the bottom surface of the lens shade sleeve to prevent over-exposure.
Abstract:
A monitoring camera has a body (10), a focus ring (20), a lens (30) and an optional control cover assembly (50). The focus ring (20) has an inner flange with an inner threaded surface (24) and an outer threaded surface (23) to attach respectively to the lens (30) and the body (10). The structure allows the lens (30) to be focused over a broad range. Additionally, the control cover assembly (50) is attached to a side face of the body (10) to cover and protect multiple switches (16) on the body (10).
Abstract:
A surveillance camera has a sensing module, a micro-control unit (MCU) and a real-time clock (RTC) unit. The sensing module records original images. The MCU is connected to the sensing module and stores multiple time settings and a smart timer process. The MCU executes the smart timer process to operate the surveillance camera in a color mode, a monochrome mode or an auto mode based on the time settings. In the color mode, the surveillance camera records color images. In the monochrome mode, the surveillance camera records monochrome images. In the auto mode, the surveillance camera selectively records color images and monochrome images based on a variation between light level of the original images and a predetermined light level. Therefore, the surveillance camera can be set to operate in specific mode based on requirements. The surveillance camera is more flexible and convenient than conventional surveillance cameras.
Abstract:
An accessorizable security camera has at least one functional accessory and a camera body having a case, security camera optoelectronical module, a front cap assembly and a rear cap. The case is tubular and has a front opening, a rear opening, an outer surface and at least one guiding structure. The at least one guiding structure may be a recess being formed longitudinally on the outer surface of the case. The at least one functional accessory may be a weather cover, an auxiliary light source, an auxiliary mounting bracket, a motion sensor, a combination thereof or the like. The at least one functional accessory has a mounting structure corresponding to the guiding structure and being selectively and detachably mounted in the guiding structure. Therefore, the at least one functional accessory may be easily mounted on the camera body by using the mounting structure to increase flexibility of use.
Abstract:
A digital video recorder with a fast-detaching hard disk assembly has case, an ejector frame and a hard disk. The case has an opening and cover corresponding to the opening. The ejector frame has a hard disk housing, two X-frames, and is raiseably mounted in the case corresponding to the opening. The hard disk is mounted on the hard disk housing. To remove the hard disk from the case, a person removes the cover and the hard disk housing will automatically raise through the opening for easy replacement, removal or maintenance access.

Abstract:
A digital video recorder with an ejector frame assembly has a body, at least one hard disk, a front panel and an ejector frame. The body has a case and a cover. The case has a top surface, a bottom inner surface and an opening. The opening is formed through the top surface of the case. The cover selectively covers the opening. The ejector frame mounts the hard disk, is raiseably mounted on the bottom inner surface and is disposed facing to the opening. A person may slide the cover and lift the ejector frame to remove the hard disk easily.
Abstract:
A defogging device for a surveillance camera has a heating element, a circuit board and a power cord. The heating element is mounted over the lens of the surveillance camera. The circuit board compares ambient temperature to a preset temperature, activates the heating element and has a power input terminal, a power output terminal and a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is mounted between the power input terminal and the power output terminal and senses ambient temperature. When the ambient temperature is above the preset temperature, the circuit board activates the heating element. The power cord is connected to the circuit board and the heating element and transmits power to the heating element from the circuit board. By activating the heating element during periods of cold ambient temperature, the defogging device removes fog and frost from or keeps fog and frost from forming on the lens of the surveillance camera.
