Abstract: An input device, such as a hand-held stylus, can be used to receive inputs and track motion of a user in three-dimensional space, for example during a drawings session. The tip sensor can detect contact with an object by receiving a force toward a body of the stylus. Inputs from the user can be applied to a tip sensor of the stylus via an adapter. The inputs provided via the adapter can be different from inputs applied by contact with an object. Accordingly, the stylus can interpret the user inputs to initiate, terminate, or modify characteristics of the drawing session.

Abstract: A display system includes a head-mounted display unit and a wake control system. The head-mounted display unit provides content to a user and is operable in a low-power state and a high-power state that consumes more power to provide the content to the user than the low-power state. The wake control system determines when to operate in the high-power state. The wake control system may assess a first wake criterion with low power, assess a second wake criterion with higher power than the first wake criterion upon satisfaction of the first wake criterion, and cause the head-mounted display unit to operate in the high-power state upon satisfaction of the second wake criterion.

Abstract: An electronic device may have a housing in which electrical components on a printed circuit board are mounted. A connector may be mounted to the edge of the printed circuit board using solder. The connector may have a threaded portion that protrudes through the housing. A threadless portion of the connector may be aligned with the housing. The connector may have a metal body member covered with a metal shell. The metal shell may have a portion that covers the electrical components and serves as an electromagnetic interference shield for the electrical components. The connector may have a threaded barrel. The threaded barrel may have a threaded outer portion with a diameter that is larger than a threaded inner portion. The threadless portion of the connector may lie between the threaded outer and inner portions.

Abstract: An electronic device such as a head mounted device may have a head-mounted support structure. A portion of the head-mounted support structure may form a transparent housing member through which real-world objects can be viewed from eye boxes. A display system for the head-mounted device may have a display device that provides image light to a waveguide and may have an output coupler that couples the image light out of the waveguide toward the eye box. Peripheral portions of the transparent housing member or other peripheral device structures may be provided with a peripheral display that emits diffuse light into a user's peripheral vision. The peripheral display may use light guide structures, light sources, reflective structures, and other structures that provide transparency to real-world light.
