Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for providing broadcast and multicast services to wireless devices while in idle and Inactive modes a wireless communication system. A wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular base station of a cellular network. The wireless device may receive information indicating whether provision of a broadcast or multicast service in one or more of an inactive mode or an idle mode is supported by the cellular network. Abstract: Techniques, described herein, include solutions for enabling inter-user equipment (UE) coordination (IUC) using media access control (MAC) control elements (CE). A first UE may send an IUC request to a second UE, and the second UE may respond with a MAC CE that includes IUC information. The IUC information may indicated one or more wireless resources that the first UE may use to communicate with the second UE. The IUC information may also include a time-domain validity for wireless resources, which may include one or more durations of time the wireless resources may be used for communication. The first UE may also implement a latency bound during which the second UE is to respond with the IUC information. In some implementations, discontinuous reception (DRX) may be used by the first and second UEs, and DRX active times of the UEs may be modified or configured to facilitate IUC.

Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for L2 resets. For example, a UE can be connected to a base station DU via a first cell and can be configured with information about a second cell. This information can indicate whether an LTM association exists between the first cell and the second cell (e.g., whether these two cells are provided by the same base station DU or not). Upon a command to establish a connection with the second cell (e.g., a MAC CE handover command), the UE can determine whether an L2 reset is to be performed or not based on the configuration information (e.g., the L2 reset can be foregone when the two cells are provided by the same base station DU; otherwise, the L2 reset can be performed).
