摘要: A system (100) includes a retrieval unit (110) for retrieving an image from the storage of images, on the basis of the similarity of images from the storage of images to a query image. The similarity is defined by means of a similarity function. A relevance unit (120) computes the relevance of a first portion of the retrieved image to a respective first portion of the query image and of a second portion of the retrieved image to the respective second portion of the query image. A visualization unit (130) visualizes the relevance of the first and second portion of the retrieved image to the respective first and second portion of the query image. The relevance of the first and second portion of the retrieved image to the respective first and second portion of the query image is computed using a first and second relevance function. The computed values of the relevance are visualized, e.g. using a color coding and coloring the first and second portion of each retrieved image. The colored portions are easy to see and analyze. Thus, the system facilitates visualizing and comparing retrieved images with respect to each other as well as with the query image.

摘要: The invention relates to analysis and visualization of temporal data and, in embodiments, to the area of visualization of temporal data associated with medical images. A method of visualizing temporal data is disclosed. The method comprises providing a set of temporal data, detecting the number of distinct regions (40, 41) in the temporal data, based on the temporal behavior of the data, identifying and assigning a color scheme to each region and visualizing each region in accordance with the assigned color scheme. In embodiments, the number of distinct regions is detected based on the use of a clustering algorithm.

摘要: A system and method for assuring a high resolution image of an object, such as the face of a person, passing through a targeted space are provided. Both stationary and active or pan-tilt-zoom cameras are utilized. The at least one stationary camera acts as a trigger point such that when a person passes through a predefined targeted area of the at least one stationary camera, the system is triggered for object imaging and tracking. Upon the occurrence of a triggering event in the system, the system predicts the motion and position of the person. Based on this predicted position of the person, an active camera that is capable of obtaining an image of the predicted position is selected and may be controlled to focus its image capture area on the predicted position of the person. After the active camera control and image capture processes, the system evaluates the quality of the captured face images and reports the result to the security agents and interacts with the user.

摘要: A method of detecting a road feature in an image signal derived from an infrared-sensitive camera. The method, in overview, comprises processing an image frame by assigning binary values to pixels in the frame in response to their representative temperature, and then to analyze spatially the binary mask to identify regions of pixels having mutually similar assigned binary values. The road feature is subsequently found from the analysis of the identified regions of mutually similar binary values and a visual indication of the road feature in relation to the image frame provided to the user.

摘要: The invention relates to a method, a system (101) and a computer program product to identify a particular data object of a data type in a database (104) that comprises data objects of the data type. The system (101) comprises a query composition unit (102) to compose a search query to identify a candidate data object being a candidate for the particular data object. A search unit (103) identifies the candidate data object in the database (104) based on the search query. A presentation unit (105) presents the candidate data object to the user. A feedback receiving unit (106) receives user feedback on the relevance or irrelevance of a segment of the candidate data object. The search unit (103) further identifies an improved candidate data object in response to the received user feedback. The improved candidate data object is an improved candidate for the particular data object.

摘要: A system and method for displaying image data acquired in respect of, for example, a subject's brain. MRI image data is acquired (300) and a first contrast image, for example, MR T2 contrast mage is used to determine (304) the repair of hypo-intensity indicative of iron concentration. A second image is obtained (310) either by segmentation or by using a different type of contrast image, for example, T1 or PD, in which the boundaries between brain organs can be visibly determined. The regions of hypo-intensity (including the respective spatial resolution) is combined (312) with the second image to generate (314) an aggregate image showing the regions of hypo-intensity in association with the respective brain organs.
