摘要： The magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus of this invention records/reproduces information on/from a magnetic tape by drawing out the magnetic tape from a tape cassette and allowing the magnetic tape to pass around a rotary head cylinder, having a rotary head, for a predetermined arc. The apparatus includes: a first chassis into which the tape cassette is inserted; and a second chassis having the rotary head cylinder mounted thereon and guiding movements of the first chassis toward and away from the rotary head cylinder, wherein the first chassis includes a chassis driving plate mounted thereon for adjusting a position of the first chassis relative to the second chassis, the second chassis includes a chassis driving arm mounted thereon for driving the first chassis, the chassis driving plate has a cam surface having a portion which is not perpendicular to a direction of the movement of the first chassis, the chassis driving arm has a protrusion which engages with the cam surface, and the chassis driving plate is disposed so as to be positionally adjusted by being moved in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the movement of the first chassis.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproduction apparatus includes a main chassis having a rotatable head cylinder provided thereon; and a sub chassis on which a tape cassette is mountable. The sub chassis is movable with respect to the main chassis between a tape cassette mountable position and a tape pull-out completion position, and the tape cassette mountable position is a position at which the tape cassette is mountable on the sub chassis and the tape pull-out completion position is a position at which information recording to and information reproduction from the tape, which has been pulled out from the tape cassette and has been wound around the rotatable head cylinder, can be performed. A portion of the main chassis along a forward end thereof is cut out toward the rotatable head cylinder.

摘要： The magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus of this invention records/reproduces information on/from a magnetic tape by drawing out the magnetic tape from a tape cassette and allowing the magnetic tape to pass around a rotary head cylinder having a rotary head for a predetermined arc. The apparatus includes: a capstan shaft for driving the magnetic tape; a pinch roller for pressing the magnetic tape against the capstan shaft; a supply reel base rotatably attached to a shaft, the supply reel base engaging with a supply reel for holding the magnetic tape wound onto the supply reel located in the tape cassette; a winding reel base rotatably attached to a shaft, the winding reel base engaging with a winding reel for holding the magnetic tape wound onto the winding reel located in the tape cassette: a reel driving source for rotating the supply reel base and the winding reel base and abnormality detection means for detecting an abnormality in the magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus, wherein in response to the detection of the abnormality by the abnormality detection means, the reel driving source performs an abnormality relief operation including rotating one of the winding reel base and the supply reel base in a direction of winding the magnetic tape by a predetermined amount and then rotating the other of the winding reel base and the supply reel base in a direction of winding the magnetic tape by a predetermined amount.

摘要： The magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus of the present inventions comprises, in the order of a running direction of a magnetic tape supplied from a supply reel, a first vertical guide post located inside a tape running path at right angles to the tape running direction, a first inclined guide post having a predetermined inclination in the tape running direction located outside the tape running path, a second inclined guide post having a predetermined inclination in a direction opposite to the tape running direction located outside the tape running path, a second vertical guide post located inside the tape running path at right angles to the tape running direction, a rotary head cylinder having a predetermined inclination in the opposite direction to the tape running direction located outside the tape running path. The apparatus further comprises a third vertical guide post located inside the tape running path at right angles to the tape running direction, and a third inclined guide post having a predetermined inclination in the opposite direction to the tape running direction located outside the tape running path, whereby the inclined guide posts are substantially fixed to a chassis, accomplishing the positioning and inclination thereof with high accuracy, allowing the tape loading to be performed with a movement of minimal post members, thereby realizing highly accurate tape running performance and making the apparatus main body compact in size.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproduction apparatus includes an arm section pivotable about a pivoting shaft; a tape guide section provided on the arm section for guiding a magnetic tape; a capstan section for driving the magnetic tape so as to run; and a maintaining section provided on the capstan section. The arm section is pivotable between a first location and a second location. The first location is a location at which the information recording to and/or information reproduction from the magnetic tape is possible. The second location is a location at which the information recording to and/or information reproduction from the magnetic tape is not possible. When the arm section pivots from the second location to the first location, the maintaining section maintains a relative position of the arm section, which is in the first location, to the capstan section.
