Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for configuring the operation of a use equipment (UE) for and after exiting a conditional handover. Some embodiments are directed to a user equipment (UE). The UE includes processor circuitry and radio front circuitry. The processor circuitry can be configured to receive, using the radio front end circuitry and from a source device associated with a source cell, a conditional handover command for a conditional handover to a target cell. The processor circuitry can be further configured to determine, based on the received conditional handover command, a condition for exiting the conditional handover. The processor circuitry can be further configured to in response to the condition being met, exit the conditional handover.
