Abstract: A display apparatus includes a backlight, a first polarizer, a light controlling panel, a second polarizer, a display panel, and a third polarizer sequentially arranged along a direction. A transmission axis of the first polarizer and a transmission axis of the second polarizer are substantially parallel, and the transmission axis of the second polarizer and a transmission axis of the third polarizer are substantially perpendicular. A set of the first polarizer, the light controlling panel, and the second polarizer has a transmittance, and the transmittance has a maximum value when the light controlling panel is not enabled.

Abstract: A pixel structure includes a switch element on a substrate, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The fourth trunk portion overlaps a gap between the first and second branch portions. The fifth trunk portion overlaps a gap between the third and fourth branch portions. The fifth and sixth branch portions are connected to the fourth trunk portion. The seventh and eighth branch portions are connected to the fifth trunk portion.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a backlight source, a privacy filter disposed on the backlight source, a light adjusting panel disposed on the privacy filter, and a display panel disposed on the light adjusting panel. The light adjusting panel includes a first substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, a first vertical alignment film disposed on the first substrate, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, a second vertical alignment film disposed on the second substrate, and a positive liquid crystal layer disposed between the first vertical alignment film and the second vertical alignment film. The first electrode and the second electrode are disposed on the first substrate. Here, the first electrode has a plurality of first slits, and a plurality of orthogonal projections of the first slits on the first substrate overlap an orthogonal projection of the second electrode on the first substrate.

Abstract: A pixel structure including an active device, a first electrode and a second electrode is provided. The first electrode includes a main portion, first branch portions, a first auxiliary portion and a second auxiliary portion. The second electrode includes second branch portions and a peripheral portion. The main portion extends in a first direction. The first branch portions and the second branch portions cross with the main portion and are arranged alternately in the first direction. Each first branch portion has a first end and a second end located on two opposite sides of the main portion respectively. The first auxiliary portion is connected to the first ends of the first branch portions. The second auxiliary portion is connected to the second ends of the first branch portions. The first auxiliary portion and the second auxiliary portion of the first electrode overlap the peripheral portion of the second electrode.
