Abstract:
A pancreatic stent includes a main body convertible between a compressed configuration for delivery and an expanded configuration once deployed, the main body including an inner surface defining a stent lumen and an outer surface. A plurality of drainage features are formed within the outer surface of the main body, the plurality of drainage features permitting placement of the pancreatic stent within a patient's pancreas without blocking side branches of the pancreas.

Abstract:
An apparatus may be used after a surgical procedure to protect against leaks and to separate healing tissue from foreign materials such as nutritional contents. In some cases the apparatus may be easily delivered to a surgical site before, during or after a surgical procedure such as gastric bypass surgery, but this is only an example. The apparatus may include expandable anchors at either end and a collapsible central portion extending between the two expandable anchors.
Abstract:
A medical device may include an expandable energy delivery array reciprocally movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. The expandable energy delivery array may include a first assembly having a first proximal end piece, a first distal end piece, and one or more first energy transfer elements extending between the first proximal and first distal end pieces, and a second assembly having a second proximal end piece, a second distal end piece, and one or more second energy transfer elements extending between the second proximal and second distal end pieces. The second proximal end piece may be proximal to the first proximal end piece and the second distal end piece may be distal to the first distal end piece.

Abstract:
Medical devices and methods for making and using a medical device are disclosed. An example medical device may include an implantable medical device. The implantable medical device may include a stent having a covered portion and an uncovered portion. The covered portion may be releasably attached to the uncovered portion. A cover member may be disposed along the covered portion. The uncovered portion may include a release tab that is designed to release the uncovered portion from the covered portion. A removal member may be coupled to the covered portion for aiding in the removal of the covered portion from an implantation site.
