Abstract:
A height adjustment device for a hinge having one hinge leaf that can be snapped into or inserted into a receiving part mounted on a door leaf or on a door frame, and with a height adjustment mechanism in the receiving part which has abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment mechanism has a slide that is limitedly movable in the receiving part, and a rotatable height adjustment member. The slide has a portion for abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment member has a plurality of radially directed, angularly separated arms of different lengths, wherein an end portion of such an arm is adapted to engage with an adapted engaging portion of the slide.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for storing and mounting the body for a cabinet, furniture or the like, consisting of two sides (2, 3), top (1) and base (4), where adjacent end sections of said sides, top and base are provided with articulation devices (6, 7, 8, 11) to join the parts together. Said sides, top and base are arranged in transport or storage state such that said top and one of the sides (1, 2) lie parallel with said base and the other side (3, 4). The body is mounted by moving said two sides (2, 3), together with the top (1) and base (4), in mutually parallel relationship like a parallellogram until said two sides (2, 3) are vertical, whereafter at least one of the two sets of articulation devices (6, 8) situated diagonally in the body is releasably locked into position. The means for forming an articulated joint between adjacent end sections of the structural parts, e.g., sides, top and base of a body for a cabinet or the like, comprises a cup-shaped body (6, 7, 8) which is hinge-connected to an approximately L-shaped (8'), U-shaped (6') or stepped straight arm. The arm may be equipped with a rotatable tension pin adapted for engagement with a recess in the member.
Abstract:
A dual hinge method that uses a temporary hinge 150 that is subsequently replaced by a permanent hinge 250 that both have snap-in features on both the panel leaf and frame jamb.
Abstract:
A hinge device where height adjustment, depth adjustment and side adjustment are permitted, wherein a hinge flap is adjustably supported by a rotatable pin with a polygonal flange, the hinge for side adjustment having an adjustable screw body fastened into the door frame for abutment with the rear side of the hinge, and where depth adjustment is provided by allowing a tongue on the hinge flap to form rotatable engagement with a double-headed adjusting screw that is insertable into the door frame parallel to the plane of the hinge flap.
Abstract:
A hinge device of the snap-in type for use in a door leaf and door frame assembly, the hinge device having a first hinge leaf attachable to the door frame and second hinge leaf pivotably attached to said first hinge leaf and snap insertable into a receiving pocket on the door leaf. The second hinge leaf has a notch at its free end portion for interaction with an adjusting screw having a pair of step flanges to bear against either side of the second hinge leaf to enable lateral adjustment of the hinge device about hinge pivot means on the second hinge leaf, the pivot means being elevated protuberances at each lateral edge on both lateral surfaces of the second hinge leaf. Means are provided for also enabling height adjustment of the hinge device.
Abstract:
A device for a door hinge structure of the snap-in type, where the hinge has a first hinge flap designed to be secured to a door frame and pivotally attached to a second hinge flap in the form of an insertion part which can be snapped into an insertion pocket in a receiving part that is secured to an end portion of a door leaf. The receiving part has a spring-loaded peg which is slidably mounted in a slide that is moveable parallel to the depth direction of the insertion pocket. The slide forms steplessly adjustable threaded engagement with an axially immoveable, rotatable adjusting screw, provided in the receiving part, and the peg is moveable transverse to the insertion pocket for releasable engagement with a hole or a cut-out portion in the insertion part, whereby the length of insertion of the insertion part in the depth direction of the insertion pocket is steplessly adjustable. It is also possible to make the hinge height adjustable in that the insertion pocket, seen in the altitudinal direction of the hinge, has a height that is greater than the height of the insertion part , and that the receiving part is equipped with two inclined height adjusting screws which are adjustable, and with conical tip portion form contact with respectively an upper and a lower edge of the insertion part.
