A method for determining a data forwarding tunnel, an AMF entity, and a base station (BS) are provided. The method includes: receiving data forwarding information of target UE forwarded by MME, and acquiring a QoS flow configured by a 5G core network for each bearer of the target UE, and mapping relationship between a bearer and a QoS flow, where the data forwarding information includes a list of bearers allocated by EPS to the target UE and an indication of a determination by a 4G BS as to whether each bearer of the target UE has data to forward; transmitting the data forwarding information, the configured QoS flow, and the mapping relationship to a target 5G BS; and receiving forwarding tunnel information of a 5G BS configured for the target UE by the target 5G BS according to the data forwarding information, the configured QoS flow, and the mapping relationship.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for determining and providing mobility management support and processing required by a terminal. The method comprises: determining a mobility management mapping relation and a mobility mapping relation of a terminal according to information of the terminal related to mobility management or mobility, the mobility management mapping relation being a mapping relation between conditions for the terminal and a required mobility support level or mobility management mechanism, and the mobility mapping relation being a mapping relation between the conditions for the terminal and mobility levels of the terminal; and determining, according to the mobility management mapping relation of the terminal or according to the conditions for the terminal and the mobility mapping relation of the terminal, a mobility support level or a mobility management mechanism provided for the terminal. A network side device receives an instruction for providing a mobility support level or a mobility management mechanism for the terminal, and provides mobility management for the terminal according to the instruction. By using the solution provided in embodiments of the present application, on-demand mobility management can be implemented.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and a device for implementing a proximity communication service. The method includes steps of: receiving a request for the proximity communication service from a UE; in accordance with the request for the proximity communication service from the UE, determining a proximity communication service identifier obtained when the UE subscribes for the proximity communication service; and in accordance with the proximity communication service identifier of the UE, implementing the proximity communication service. According to the present disclosure, it is able to prevent the situation where the proximity communication service cannot be implemented when a UE's 3GPP network layer identifier cannot be determined in accordance with a UE's application layer identifier, thereby to implement the proximity communication service of the UE.

Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method and device for monitoring network data. The method comprises: a NWDAF determines a terminal UE to be monitored that requires network data analysis and the type of data analysis for the UE to be monitored; the NWDAF determines a provider network function network element and a monitoring event which correspond to the UE to be monitored according to the type of data analysis for the UE to be monitored, the provider network function network element being used to provide source data for the UE to be monitored which is related to the data analysis type, and the monitoring event being used to indicate to the provider network function network element to monitor the source data; and the NWDAF sends the monitoring event to the provider network function network element.

A data forwarding method includes: acquiring a mapping between EPS bearer information and PDU session information; and transmitting the snapping between the EPS bearer information and the PDU session in formation to the SME entity, so that the SMF entity configures a data forwarding tunnel in accordance with the mapping between the EPS bearer information and the PDU session information.

Disclosed are a session management method and apparatus, wherein same are applied to a mobile network. The method comprises: determining a registration mode of a terminal sending a session establishment request or an interoperation capability supported by a network side device; and when the registration mode is a single-registration mode or when the network side device supports the interoperation capability, determining the completion of the mapping of QoS parameters between different systems when a session connection is created for the terminal. The present invention solves the technical problems in the prior art that an SMF cannot determine whether QoS mapping needs to be performed when a terminal is establishing a session connection in a mobile network and that an unnecessary signalling process will be caused for a terminal with a dual-registration mode if the SMF always performs QoS mapping.

Disclosed are a method and device for processing non-matching between a UE unit and a network state applicable to an access and mobility management (AMF) function. The method comprises: upon receiving a non-access stratum message transmitted by a UE unit or an N2 interface message transmitted by a radio access network (RAN) node, determining that the UE unit is in a connected state at a network side; and if it is determined that a change occurs in a RAN node serving the UE unit, notifying said RAN node that a context of the UE unit and an existing user plane connection are to be released. The invention solves technical problems in the prior art of inefficient use of an air interface resource and packet loss, thereby reducing paging overheads and packet loss.

A method of inserting a Session Management Function SMF and an access and mobility management function AMF entity are provided. The method of inserting an SMF includes in a case that a User Equipment UE moves out of a service area of a first SMF entity currently serving a first Packet Data Unit PDU session of the UE, or in a case that selecting a SMF entity for the UE is needed, querying, by using information relevant to the UE, a second SMF entity capable of serving the UE; and updating the first PDU session by using the second SMF entity.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a routing method and a routing device. The routing method includes: receiving, by an AMF, a first message from an (R)AN, the first message including session-related information and routing information associated with the session-related information; and routing, by the AMF, the session-related information to a relevant SMF in accordance with the routing information. According to the present disclosure, it is able to correctly route the session-related information between the (R)AN and the SMF.
