    Abstract: A stackable crate has a horizontally oriented bottom panel and four vertically oriented side panels that are separately attached at their edges to form the stackable crate. Two straight-line channels, with widths at their tops being greater than at their bottoms, form ribs within the crate. When the channels and ribs of a first crate are aligned with the channels of a second stackable crate, the first crate nests within the second crate even when non-uniform material in the second crate is stored within it, without spilling the material or toppling the stack. When the channels and ribs of the first crate are not aligned with the channels of the second crate, the first crate does not nest within the second crate but instead rests on the tops of the ribs of the first crate.

    Abstract: A tote assembly has a tote and a lid. The tote has a sealing channel formed in a lip that extends around a perimeter of a tote opening. At least one drain is formed in the lip and is adapted to direct a fluid away from the sealing channel. The lid has a center portion, a collar disposed around the center portion forming a perimeter of the lid, and a sealing rib formed in the collar that extends around the perimeter of the lid. The collar forms an interference fit with the lip of the tote. The sealing rib is configured to be disposed in the sealing channel to form a fluid tight seal. The fluid-tight seal between the tote and lid ensures the contents of the tote remain dry in an otherwise wet environment or conditions.

    Abstract: A stackable tote and lid combination has a lid with a main body and a rim. The rim has a wall with corner bodies, where the wall is spaced apart from a major surface. Each corner body has an upper surface with three outer side surfaces. Each first, second, and third outer side surface is positioned between and connected to the upper surface of the respective corner body and the major surface of the main body. As a result, each first, second, and third outer side surface of respective corner bodies is configured to abut a hollow body of the stackable tote at three respective internal contact areas, and to removably hold the stackable tote.
