摘要： A modular grid welding fixture for a spacer grid that facilitates full grid laser welding of a spacer grid in one setup. The modular design allows for partial implementation of each weld type. A base plate is used for mounting to the positioning/rotational plate of the welding system. A removable sub-plate received in the base plate is used to position the grid strips for proper location for welding. A top fixture plate is aligned with the base plate and provides for mounting of a second sub-plate if required. Side plates with spring loaded pressure pads that are hinged to the top fixture plate apply uniform pressure to the outer grid strips during processing. The base plate, top plate, side plate, and pressure pads are provided with a plurality of through holes to allow access of the laser beam for welding. Corner clips are used to insure contact of the overlapping sections of the outer grid strips for proper corner welding.

摘要： A computer-performed method of examining policies for a target system of an enterprise system domain. The policies are represented as policy rules, each rule including a condition having binary operator expression(s), each expression referring to one or more policy attributes. For a pair of expressions, the computer(s) obtain sets of sample values sufficient to represent all values assumable by the policy attribute(s) referred to in the pair. The sample values are combined in a mixed-radix enumeration in which each attribute is represented in a corresponding position of each sample value combination and of the enumeration. Using the enumeration, the computer(s) evaluate each expression of the pair relative to each of the sample value combinations to obtain a truth table. Based on the truth table, a relationship between the pair is detected and the user may be notified as to an anomaly in the rules.

摘要： A method and system for gathering and analyzing customer and purchasing information permits a retailer or retail chain to process transactional information involving large numbers of consumers and consumer products. Product information is gathered that uniquely identifies a specific product by type and manufacturer and grouped into generic product clusters. Consumers are similarly grouped into consumer clusters based on common consumer demographics and other characteristics. Consumer retail transactions are analyzed in terms of product and/or consumer clusters to determine relationships between the consumers and the products. Product, consumer, and transactional data are maintained in a relational database. Targeting of specific consumers with marketing and other promotional literature is based on consumer buying habits, needs, demographics, etc. A retailer queries the database using selected criteria, accumulates data from the database in response to that query, and makes prudent business and marketing decisions based on that response. Queried information from the database may be communicated to a printing subsystem for printing promotional literature directed to particular customers based on cluster information stored in the database.

摘要： A business forms assembly and method of forming is provided wherein a continuous web defines a plurality of successive form sets and wherein the web is divided longitudinally by a slit indicator line to define adjacent form parts for each set. Carbonless transfer technology is employed, such that a back side or undersurface of one form part (the upper part) is coated with carbonless microcapsules, while a front side or upper surface of the adjacent form part (the lower part) is coated with a co-reactant resin coating. The arrangement permits variable information to be printed on the adjacent form parts as the web passes through a non-impact printer. Thereafter, the web is longitudinally slit, separating the adjacent form parts which are thereafter interstacked so that the coating on the undersurface of the upper form part lies in full surface engagement with the coating on the upper surface of the lower form part. The respective form parts may then be adhesively secured. Thereafter, information imaged onto the upper form part is simultaneously imaged onto the lower form part.
