Abstract: A mated connector assembly includes: a first connector assembly, comprising a plurality of first coaxial connectors mounted on a mounting structure and a first shell; and a second connector assembly, comprising a plurality of second coaxial connectors, each of the second coaxial connectors connected with a respective coaxial cable and mated with a respective first coaxial connector. The second connector assembly includes a second shell surrounding the second coaxial connectors, the second shell defining a plurality of electrically isolated cavities, each of the second coaxial connectors being located in a respective cavity. In in a mated condition the second shell resides within the first shell.

Abstract: A ganged connector assembly includes: a plurality of coaxial cables; a plurality of coaxial connectors, each of the coaxial connectors connected with a respective one of the plurality of coaxial cables; a shell surrounding the coaxial connectors, the shell defining a plurality of electrically isolated cavities, each of the coaxial connectors being located in a respective cavity; a latch that is pivotally attached relative to the shell via a post that extends from the shell and receives an opening in the latch, wherein the latch is configured to engage a pin on a mating ganged connector assembly to secure the ganged connector assembly and the mating ganged connector assembly in a mated condition; and a radially outwardly-extending protrusion associated with the post that prevents the latch from slipping off of the post.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a cable reel. The cable reel may include a hollow core having a width; a first wall coupled to an end of the core and extending radially outward a distance from the core, the first wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core and at least one support member extending across the opening; and a second wall coupled to an opposing end of the core and extending radially outwardly a distance from the core, the second wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core; wherein the first wall and the second wall form a gap therebetween equal to the width of the core, the gap being configured to hold a length of excess cable wrapped around the core. Cable reel covers are also described.
