    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of communication and provide a communication system handover method, a network device, an apparatus and a medium, for handover of the communication system of a terminal. The method comprises: an AMF sends a handover request carrying first indication information to an NG-RAN node corresponding to an identifier of a target NG-RAN node; and the NG-RAN node determines the address of data forwarding according to the first indication information. In this way, the first indication information about whether a source node supports direct data forwarding or not is sent to the target NG-RAN node, so that the NG-RAN node knows whether the source node supports direct data forwarding, to achieve the purpose that the decisions of a node of an EPS system and a node of a 5G system on the data forwarding mode are consistent.

    Abstract: A data forwarding method and device, a master base station and a slave base station are provided. The data forwarding method includes: after receiving a handover request message sent by a second master base station, if it is determined that a slave base station node is newly added, a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer of a part of flows of a preset protocol data unit (PDU) session is configured at a master base station node, and an SDAP layer of the rest part of flows of the preset PDU is configured at the newly added slave base station node, sending a handover request response message carrying first preset information to a second master base station. The first preset information includes: first identity identifications of all flows configured for the first master base station and data forwarding addresses corresponding to the first identity identifications, and second identity identifications of all flows configured for the newly added first slave base station and data forwarding addresses corresponding to the second identity identifications.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a handover method and device. In embodiments of the present application, first, a DU determines that an inter-CU handover is required and then sends an F1 interface establishment request to a target CU, the F1 interface establishment request indicating that the reason for the establishment is the inter-CU handover for the DU; upon receiving the F1 interface establishment request sent from the DU, the target CU returns an F1 interface establishment response to the DU; upon receiving the F1 interface establishment response returned by the target CU, the DU sends to a source CU a message for instructing the DU to perform the inter-CU handover; and then, the DU is handed over from the source CU to the target CU. According to the present method, the DU can be handed over from the source CU to the target CU, such that under CU-DU separated network architecture, when the source CU cannot provide network services for the DU, the DU is handed over to the target CU that can provide network services for the DU, thereby improving the communication quality of UEs served by the DU.

According to the present disclosure, it is able to simplify a signaling process for switching the IAB node between the CUs to some extent.
