    摘要： An endoscopic forceps includes a housing having a shaft attached thereto with a longitudinal axis defined therethrough and an end effector assembly disposed at a distal end thereof. The end effector assembly includes first and second jaw members disposed in opposing relation relative to one another and moveable from a first, open position to a second, closed position for grasping tissue therebetween. Each of the jaw members includes a proximal flange adapted to communicate with a drive assembly for moving the jaw members between the first and second positions. One or both of the of the jaw members has a curved knife channel defined therein having a proximal end that is offset from the longitudinal axis defined through the shaft. A knife guide is assembled to an outer surface of one of the proximal flanges of the jaw members on the same side as the proximal end of the knife channel and defines a knife path therein configured to guide a knife into the knife channel for translation therethrough.

    摘要： A surgical instrument includes a housing that supports an elongated shaft. A selectively movable drive rod extends through the elongated shaft and carries a cam pin in a longitudinal direction. An end effector for surgically treating tissue is supported by the elongated shaft and includes upper and lower jaw members pivotally coupled to one another about a pivot axis. The upper jaw member includes a first pair of laterally spaced flanges, and the lower jaw member includes a second pair of laterally spaced flanges defining a camming slot for engaging the cam pin. The flanges are arranged in an offset configuration where one flange of the upper jaw member is positioned on a laterally exterior side of a corresponding flange of the lower jaw member, and the other flange of the upper jaw member is positioned on a laterally interior side of the other flange of the lower jaw member.

    摘要： A telecommunications connector is provided including a plug assembly having a plug housing, a first mating means, and a first seal member, the plug housing including a plug retaining means for receiving and selectively retaining a plug having a cable attached thereto, and the plug housing further including a latch defeat. The telecommunications connector also includes a jack assembly having a jack housing, a second mating means, and a second seal member wherein the jack housing includes a jack retaining means for receiving and selectively retaining a jack. The first mating means and the second mating means are engageable such that, when engaged, the jack receives the plug, the first sealing member forms a first seal between the plug assembly and the jack assembly, and the second seal forms a second seal between the jack assembly and a connector housing.
