摘要： In a first aspect, there is a device for detecting a substance within blood, including a collecting tube dimensioned to draw in blood through capillary action; a reagent chamber containing a reactive element; and a connector tube providing fluid communication between the reagent chamber and the collecting tube; wherein the connector tubes are dimensioned to draw in blood through capillary action to the reagent chamber. In other aspects, the device can include an outer casing and/or a plurality of reagent chambers each with a reactive element therein.

摘要： The present invention provides a sealing plug for blind installation in a suitable hole (50) thereby to plug and seal the hole, which sealing plug comprises a sleeve (2), a nut stem (4) having a shoulder (8), and a head (6) at least part of which is radially enlarged with respect to the remainder of the stem; the nut stem being of a material which is harder than that of the sleeve; the nut stem being internally threaded; whereby, when the sealing plug is inserted in a suitable hole, with the sleeve entirely within the hole, and increasing force is applied to the stem with respect to the sleeve, axial compression is applied by the shoulder to the sleeve material abutting it, thereby causing the sleeve to deform and expand radially outwardly to engage with the wall (52) of the hole.

摘要： A sealing plug for sealing a hole in a wall, which sealing plug is insertable into the hole by access from only one side thereof, which sealing plug comprises: a radially expandable body which is radially expandable by access thereto from only one end thereof, and a sealing cap which covers the other end of the expandable body and extends therefrom along the exterior of the length of the body, the sealing cap being of a material which is fluid resistant; whereby, when the sealing plug has been inserted in the hole and has been radially expanded so that at least part of the sealing cap adjacent the wall of the hole expands and engages therewith, the sealing cap is secured in the hole with the sealing cap sealing the plug body against access thereto from outside the cap.
