    摘要: A disconnectable joint system includes first and second connectors and a coupling fastener. The first connector defines a first conductor bore to receive a first cable conductor, and a first coupling portion including a first coupling bore and a first integral interlock feature. The second connector defines a second conductor bore to receive a second cable conductor, and a second coupling portion including a second coupling bore and a second integral interlock feature. The first and second coupling portions are mateable in an interlocked position wherein the first and second interlock features are interlocked with one another, the first and second coupling bores are substantially aligned, and the coupling fastener can be inserted through the first and second coupling bores and tightened to securely couple the first and second connectors to one another. The first and second connectors can be separated upon removal of the coupling fastener.

    摘要: A conductor termination system for use with an electrical power transmission conductor includes a termination assembly and a connector. The termination assembly includes an end member and an integral retainer mechanism. The end member includes a receiver portion configured to receive a segment of the conductor. The retainer mechanism includes a moveable keeper member on the end member. The retainer mechanism is operable to selectively clamp a segment of the conductor in the receiver portion to the end member and to apply a retention load to the conductor segment. The connector is adapted to be applied to the end member and the conductor to securely clamp the conductor segment to the end member.

    摘要: An ink cartridge insertion/extraction mechanism includes a cover pivotally mounted to the housing of the ink cartridge holder. A pair of links are pivotally mounted to the cover and extend into the ink cartridge holder. The bottom of each link is provided with a boss that extends into the ink cartridge holder that contacts the bottom of ink cartridge. As the cover is rotated closed, a pushing rib on the cover contacts the top of the ink cartridge and pushes the ink cartridge further into the holder, causing the needles to puncture the septum of the ink cartridge. To extract the ink cartridge, the cover is rotated from the closed position to the open position, lifting the links until the bosses at the bottom end contact the bottom of the ink cartridge and lift the ink cartridge off of the needles.

    摘要: A receiving assembly for an ink cartridge is provided. A replaceable ink cartridge is provided with one or more bosses that extend out from the ink cartridge. A lever is rotatively mounted to a housing for the ink cartridge. The lever includes a curved cam slot. During rotational movement of the lever, the cam slot operatively engages a respective boss and causes the boss to follow a cam formed by the sides of the cam slot. Following the cam form by the cam slot cause the boss to move either upward or downward, according to the direction of the rotational movement, and corresponding movement of the ink cartridge. Downward movement of the ink cartridge will cause a needle mounted to the housing to puncture a septum in the bottom of the ink cartridge, thereby allowing access to the ink contained therein.
