A field emission apparatus, liquid crystal display and television are provided, the field emission apparatus including a cathode plate; a side frame disposed around a perimeter of the cathode plate; an anode plate disposed parallel to the cathode plate; an anode electrode disposed on the anode plate; a connection electrode which is disposed between the anode plate and the side frame, the connection electrode comprising a first end portion in contact with the anode electrode, and a second end portion disposed outside the side frame; and a supporting member which supports the first end portion of the connection electrode.

An image processing method and an image processing apparatus, the method including: generating a blurry image by using a maximum telephoto image among N (where N is a natural number equal to or greater than 2) live view images; generating an alpha map by using two or more images of the N live view images; and generating a soft focus image by combining the maximum telephoto image and the blurry image by using the alpha map.

The particle has a permanent dipole moment and includes heterogeneous materials, wherein a positive pole is located in a first material and a negative pole is located in a second material different from the first material. The method includes aligning a particle such that the particle has one dipole moment direction. The film includes the aligned particles.

A method of converting a video signal and an apparatus therefor are provided. According to the method, a type of film to be referred to in order to convert a video signal is selected, and by referring to the characteristic of the selected type of the film, an input video signal is converted.
