Abstract:
Rewinder for the production of paper logs adapted to guide and transversely pre-cut a paper web along a predetermined path, adapted to wind a predetermined amount of the paper web on a core in a winding station, and including a threading mechanism for threading the web along said path. The threading mechanism includes a dragging unit provided to engage the web to drag it along the path with a predetermined feed direction and at least one dragging member to engage a respective flap of the web preceding the production of the logs. The dragging unit is located downstream of the winding station and is adapted to release the flap of the web from the dragging member, the release means being arranged downstream of the dragging so as to intercept the flap of the web and disengage it from the dragging while the web is fed.
Abstract:
Expandable pin for supporting reels of paper material, comprising an outer side (PX) and an inner side (PN), with the inner side (PN) that is adapted to be inserted into a reel (1) of paper material and with the outer side (PX) that remains on the outside of the same reel (1) when the inner side (PN) is inside the reel (1). An outer surface of said inner side (PN) is formed by more sectors (4), each of which is formed by a cylindrical surface portion with a free front part (40). The front parts (40) of said sectors (4) define a substantially circular shape with a diameter varying between a maximum value (4a) and a minimum value (4c). Each of said sectors (4) has a part pivoted on a respective hinge (42; 106) and is connected to moving means apt to determine its rotation around said hinge (42; 106) such that the sectors (4) define a cylindrical shape or a conical shape depending on their rotation around said hinge (42; 106).

The body (6) has at least one pocket (P) adapted to receive and temporarily housing a log (3) that enters in the same pocket (P) while moving along the said output direction (F). The body (6) rotates about said axis (a) in a direction (G) opposite to the output direction.

The first embossing assembly (LA) and the engraved roller (5) of the second embossing assembly (UA) are mounted on the fixed structure (1) while the rubber counter-roller (6) of the second embossing assembly (UA) is mounted on the mobile structure above the gluing unit (GA).
Abstract:
Method for unwinding web materials from two parent reels (1, 2), wherein a first parent reel (1) in a depletion phase is replaced by a second parent reel (2), wherein during said replacement a first and a second web material (N1, N2) are unwound from both parent reels, wherein before the completion of said replacement the first web material (N1) is joined to the second web material (N2) and then it is cut, wherein the joining of said web materials (N1, N2) is preceded by the insertion of the second web material in an area where the two web materials are joined, and during the step of inserting the second web material in said joining area the second web material is guided on a guide surface (41, 44) which guides it towards the joining area. In said insertion step, the second web material adheres pneumatically to guide surface.
Abstract:
A rewinding machine for producing paper logs by winding a paper web, comprising: elements for feeding a paper web along a predetermined path at a predetermined feeding speed; web pre-cutting elements; web winding elements; web sizing elements, with a pad adapted to cyclically apply glue by contact on the web, the pad being mounted on a pad-holder device connected with a corresponding actuator. The web sizing elements are arranged upstream of a web winding station. The pad-holder device is controlled such that, when the pad contacts the web, the pad is moved with a speed lower than the speed of the web along the respective feeding path so as to cause a prolonged contact of the pad with the web while the pad and the web move.
Abstract:
Equipment for removing paper from parent reels used for the production of paper logs of paper material, including a support system adapted to support an exhausted parent reel, where the exhausted parent reel includes a tubular core on which residual paper to be removed is wound, and including removal capabilities for removing the residual paper from the core when the exhausted parent reel is placed on the support system. The removal capabilities include a suction cylinder having a horizontal axis onto which the paper is transferred by effect of the contact between the suction cylinder and the exhausted parent reel and by effect of the rotation of the suction cylinder around the horizontal axis.
Abstract:

The guide means are configured to provide a nip traversed by the ply at a preliminary stage of drawing-in of the ply, the nip being subsequently eliminated when the step of drawing-in is completed.
Abstract:
Method for applying glue on tubular cores for the production of logs of paper material comprising the step of supplying in sequence more tubular cores (1) along a predetermined advancing direction (A) and the step of applying on each of said cores (1) a predetermined amount of glue, and the glue is applied on the tubular cores (1) from the above. Abstract:
Process for the production of paper rolls, including a step of producing logs (L) of paper material by winding a predetermined amount of paper web (W) about a tubular core (C) oriented transversely with respect to a direction (PP) of entering of the paper web (W) in a rewinder (R) in which the winding is executed, and a step of transverse cutting of the logs (L) to obtain rolls (R) of predetermined length. The cores (C) are produced by a tube-forming machine (T) whose position is intercepted by the direction (PP) of the paper (W) entering the rewinder®.
