A filter-tipped cigarette having: a tobacco portion having an outer end and an inner end; a filter butt-connected to the inner end of the tobacco portion; a first sleeve wound about the tobacco portion and the filter to connect the filter permanently and non-detachably to the tobacco portion; a cap butt-connected to the outer end of the tobacco portion, at the opposite end from the filter, and removable to smoke the filter-tipped cigarette; and a second sleeve, which is wound about the cap and the tobacco portion, is integral with the cap, and is at least partly removable axially from the tobacco portion together with and to remove the cap.

Rigid box for smoking articles having a parallelepiped shape and provided with: a first panel which defines a top wall; a second panel which is hinged to the first panel, folded 90° with respect to the first panel and defines a first lateral wall; a third panel which is hinged to the second panel, folded 90° with respect to the second panel and defines a bottom wall; a fourth panel which is hinged to the third panel, folded 90° with respect to the third panel and defines a second lateral wall opposite the first lateral wall; a fifth panel which is hinged to the fourth panel, is folded 90° with respect to the fourth panel and rests on and is glued to an inner surface of the first panel; a sixth panel which is hinged to the fifth panel, is folded 90° with respect to the fifth panel and divides the inner volume of the rigid box in two adjacent chambers; and a seventh panel which is hinged to the sixth panel, is folded 90° with respect to the sixth panel and rests on and is glued to an inner surface of the third panel.

A rigid, slide-open packet of cigarettes having: at least one inner package composed of a wrapped group of cigarettes; at least one inner container housing the inner package; an outer container housing the inner container to allow the inner container to slide between a closed position, in which the inner container is inserted inside the outer container, and an open position, in which the inner container is at least partly extracted from the outer container; and a connecting tab, which has an outer end glued to a corresponding part of the outer container, and an inner end glued to a corresponding part of the inner container. The connecting tab connects a rear wall of the outer container to a rear wall of the lid.
