Abstract: A multi-port exhaust gas diverter valve disposed within a linkage of an exhaust manifold for selectively diverting an exhaust gas generated by an internal combustion engine to one or more of a turbocharger system, an exhaust gas recirculation system, and an emissions control system. The diverter valve includes an inlet port for receiving an exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold and a plurality of outlet ports. A rotatable valve sleeve having an open end and a slot opening is co-axially disposed within a cylindrical chamber defined by the valve body. The open end of the valve sleeve is in continuous fluid communication with the inlet port. The valve sleeve is selectively rotatable to align the slot opening with at least one of the plurality of outlet ports such that the valve sleeve provides fluid communication between the inlet port and the at least one of the outlet ports.

Abstract: Flexible fluid connection systems are provided with misalignment management, vibration attenuation and compact packaging for a variety of applications. A fluid connection system includes a component that operates using a fluid. The component defines a surface and a passageway containing the fluid and opening through the surface. A fluid line is configured to convey the fluid relative to the component. A connector is made of a flexible material and is connected with the component and with the fluid line. The connector is positioned against the surface and has an end spaced away from the surface through which the fluid line is received.

Abstract: A fluidic valve assembly is disposed in a thermal management system for an internal combustion engine, and includes a unitary housing including a first rotary valve, a second rotary valve and a third rotary valve. The first, second and third rotary valves include a respective first, second and third rotatable valve body that is coupled to a respective first, second and third actuator. The first, second and third rotary valves are disposed to regulate fluidic flow between heat exchange elements of the thermal management system. The second and third rotary valves are coaxially disposed about a first axis of rotation and the first rotary valve is coaxially disposed about a second axis of rotation, with the first axis of rotation being non-parallel to the second axis of rotation.
