摘要： The invention relates to the provision of an antimicrobial antibiotic obtained by culturing Actinoplanes strain ATCC 31440 under aerobic conditions in the presence of sources of carbon and nitrogen and in the presence of trace amounts of minerals. In addition to their use as antimicrobials, the antibiotics of the invention can be used for improving the growth and feed utilization in animals.
