Abstract: Example implementations relate to a compute node having a chassis with front installed trays. The chassis includes a base, a pair of walls, each coupled to a peripheral side of the base, and a first top cover portion coupled to the pair of walls to cover a portion of the chassis. The compute node further includes a plurality of first latches coupled to a rear end inner surface of the first top cover portion. The plurality of trays is slidable from a front side of the chassis and at least one tray is fastened to at least one first latch. Each tray includes a front cover, a floor coupled to the front cover, a pair of brackets coupled to the floor, a pair of risers, where each riser is coupled to a respective bracket, and a pair of GPU card assemblies, where each GPU card assembly is plugged to a respective riser.

Abstract: A base chassis supports a set of storage cages. The base chassis includes a front portion that is removably attachable to a first storage cage. The base chassis also includes an extension portion. The extension portion has a first end that is fixedly attachable to the front portion to extend a length of the base chassis to support an additional storage cage when the first storage cage is detached from the front portion. The extension portion also has a second end that is attachable to the first storage cage to support the first storage cage.

Abstract: An apparatus includes: a 1 U drive chassis divided into a plurality of compartments by a partition, the plurality of compartments including an interior compartment; an interior cage installed in the interior compartment, the interior cage including a plurality of pockets into which storage media are mounted when in use and having a back edge; a hinge by which the interior cage is rotatably mounted to the 1 U drive chassis along the back edge of the interior cage; a lift to rotate the interior cage at least partially to an open position when the first latch is released; and a latch to maintain the interior cage in a closed position and to maintain the interior cage in the opened position according to the rotation of the interior compartment.
