This application provides a UE sensing method and a communication apparatus. An SF network element, an NEF network element, an AMF network element, an SMF network element, a RAN network element, or the like may perform sensing detection on UE for a sensing requester or the UE, and provide a corresponding sensing service for the sensing requester or the UE. In some implementations, the sensing requester may be the UE, or may be an application function AF. Usually, the AF may directly request the sensing service from a communication system (for example, a 5GS), and the UE may request the sensing service from a communication system (for example, a 5GS), may perform sensing by directly requesting a sensing resource from the RAN network element based on a sensing requirement of the UE, or may perform sensing in collaboration with the RAN network element, and obtain sensing data, so that the sensing data can be quickly and efficiently obtained. In addition, in some implementations, not only sensing on the UE can be implemented, but also security and privacy on a UE side can be protected.
Abstract:
This application provides a network node selection method and apparatus. An SMF network element obtains transmission capability information of an access network device, and selects, for a terminal device based on the transmission capability information of the access network device, a UPF network element that supports at least one transmission capability included in the transmission capability information. In this process, the SMF network element obtains a transmission capability of the access network device, and selects the UPF network element based on the transmission capability of the access network device. The selected UPF network element supports the transmission capability used by the access network device, so that data can be successfully transmitted between the access network device and the UPF network element. Therefore, a data transmission success rate is improved.
Abstract:
This application provides a method for processing a change in a radio capability of a terminal apparatus and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by an access network apparatus, indication information, where the access network apparatus stores radio capability information of a terminal apparatus, and the indication information is used to indicate that a radio capability of the terminal apparatus changes, or is used to request a current radio capability of the terminal apparatus from the access network apparatus; and obtaining, by the access network apparatus, radio capability information of the terminal apparatus according to the indication information. According to this application, communication efficiency of a radio control resource connection performed when a radio capability of the UE changes in a suspend state can be improved.

The present disclosure relates to discontinuous reception communication synchronization methods and apparatus. One example method includes receiving a system message that is broadcast by a base station and that indicates that the base station supports a capability of extended discontinuous reception (DRX), sending an extended DRX value to a network element of a core network, receiving, from the network element of the core network, extended DRX support information indicating that the network element of the core network supports the extended DRX, calculating a paging time using the extended DRX value, and receiving a paging message delivered from the base station according to the paging time.

A data communication method, a communication system, and related devices are configured to establish a transaction identifier (TI) in a user equipment (UE). The data communication method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) receives a request message and obtains ability information of the UE. If the UE has an ability to access a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network/GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (UTRAN/GERAN), the MME generates the TI. A communication system and related devices are also provided. Thus, the TI is effectively established in the UE, so as to ensure normal processing of the UE.

This application discloses a communication method and apparatus. A first mobility management function entity may receive event information from a unified data management function entity, where the event information is used to indicate a first-type terminal event. Therefore, when a terminal apparatus is reachable, the first mobility management function entity may send, based on the event information, a terminal event report to an application function entity that subscribes to the first-type terminal event, thereby improving pertinence of sending the terminal event report.

A service data transmission method and a device are disclosed, to resolve a problem in the prior art that a network side cannot provide targeted services for different types of NB-IoT services. The method includes: determining, by an access network device, first information of service data to be sent by a terminal, where the first information includes at least one of a service type and a priority; then receiving, by the access network device, the service data sent by the terminal by using a NAS signaling message; and sending, by the access network device, the service data and the first information to a gateway, so that the gateway charges the service data based on the first information after receiving the service data and the first information.

A GTP message sending device receives a no-response time indication of user equipment sent from a GTP message response device, where the no-response time indication indicates a no-response time of the user equipment in an implicit or explicit manner, the GTP message sending device adjusts, according to the no-response time of the user equipment indicated by the received no-response time indication of the user equipment, a time of sending a GTP message, where adjusting the time of sending the GTP message is specifically postponing the time of sending the GTP message as the no-response time of the user equipment increases, or bringing forward the time of sending the GTP message as the no-response time of the user equipment decreases.

A mobility management apparatus reselection method and a mobility management apparatus are provided. The method includes: receiving an access request message sent from user equipment (UE), where the access request message carries identity information of the UE; determining, according to the identity information of the UE, a type of a mobility management apparatus that the UE needs to access; reselecting a second mobility management apparatus according to the type of the mobility management apparatus that the UE needs to access; and forwarding the access request message to the second mobility management apparatus, so that the second mobility management apparatus executes an access request procedure of the UE. The embodiments of the present invention is applicable to the field of communications technologies.

A data transmission method may include: receiving, by a core network node, a first packet from user equipment UE or an application server AS; translating the first packet according to non-Internet Protocol IP data transmission information, to obtain a second packet; and sending the second packet using a data transmission channel. The embodiments of the present application further provide a related data transmission device and system. In the embodiments of the present application, a scenario in which a sending party and a receiving party support different protocols is supported by means of packet translation. In addition, performing packet translation according to specific non-IP data transmission information may strengthen negotiation capabilities of the two parties, so that the solution has stronger operability and better practicality.
