Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a paging method and a related device. The method includes: obtaining, by an access and mobility management network element, a paging area of a terminal, determined by a network data analytics network element, where the paging area is smaller than a registration area of the terminal; receiving, by the access and mobility management network element, a downlink data notification sent by a session management network element, where the downlink data notification is used to notify that there is downlink data to be sent to the terminal; and sending, by the access and mobility management network element, a paging message to the terminal in idle mode within the paging area.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The policy control function network element determines the policies of the first service and then sends the policies to the application function network element.
