摘要: A tone control apparatus for a sound system processing audio signals of front and rear channels. By providing front and rear tone control means for independently effecting the tone control in both of the front and rear channels, it is possible to prevent the generation of distortions in the front acoustic output when the control for raising the rear bass level is effected. Also, a tone control balance between the front and rear channels in a vehicle cabin, for example, can be set appropriately.

摘要: An automatic sound volume control device for use in a device such as a radio or tape player used in a high ambient noise environment. The noise and sound signal levels above predetermined reference levels are detected and a control signal is produced having a level determined in accordance with the output signals so produced. The amplification gain of the sound signal is set by this control signal. Several different ways of producing the control signal are described, each of which has particular advantages in different situations and for different types of reproduced sound.

摘要: A limiter circuit divides the output of a low frequency amplifier into two parts which are respectively high pass filtered, and low frequency amplitude limited. The two parts may be recombined to form an audio output which is freed from clipping distortion at the low end, while the high end is increased. The invention is especially suited for environments such as automobiles, where the ambient noise level may be high.

摘要: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition that has excellent safety and targets a different step in the virus propagation cycle than conventional pharmaceutical compositions, applicable as an antiviral agent. A pharmaceutical composition containing an epigallocatechin gallate derivative represented by the following chemical formula (1), an isomer thereof, or a salt thereof is prepared. This can be used as a membrane fusion inhibitor that inhibits viral membrane fusion. In the following formula, R1 to R6 are each a hydrogen atom, halogen, sodium, potassium, or a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated acyl group and may be identical to or different from one another. The acyl group may be substituted further with one or more substituents. At least one of R1 to R6 is the acyl group. R7 to R16 are each a hydrogen atom, halogen, sodium, or potassium and may be identical to or different from one another.

摘要: In an ALC circuit for automatically performing an amplitude compression control operation according to the output level of a low frequency amplifier circuit, the output level of the amplifier circuit is subjected to amplitude compression according to the level of a control signal which is outputted in correspondence to the output level of the amplifier circuit. The differentiation time constant of a differentiating circuit (or cutoff frequency of a high pass filter) provided on the output side of the amplifier circuit is controlled according to the level of the control signal to control the cutoff frequency for the frequency band subjected to amplitude compression.
