Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. In the present disclosure, a query request sent by a second terminal is received; address information of a first terminal is obtained from a pre-stored correspondence among a terminal identifier, an application identifier, and address information based on the terminal identifier of the first terminal and an application identifier of an application; and the address information of the first terminal is sent to the second terminal. The query request that is sent by the second terminal and that carries the terminal identifier of the first terminal and the application identifier is received, and the address information of the first terminal is determined and returned based on the pre-stored correspondence among a terminal identifier, an application identifier, and address information.
