摘要: The present application discloses a method for generating forwarding information. The method includes: determining, by a controller, a first SFE and a second SFE that are used to forward a service stream, where the first SFE and the second SFE are on a service function chain corresponding to the service stream; generating, by the controller, first forwarding information for the first SFE and generating second forwarding information for the second SFE; and sending, by the controller, the first forwarding information to the first SFE and sending the second forwarding information to the second SFE. According to the method for generating forwarding information, the controller generates forwarding information for the SFE, so that a service chaining technology can be applied to a service environment in which a large quantity of services and a large quantity of service processing function units exist.

摘要: The present invention is applicable to the field of PONs and provides a PON protection method and apparatus. A first transmission path is established between a first OLT and a far-end network node, and a second transmission path is established between a second OLT and the far-end network node. When it is found that a fault occurs on an optical path of the first OLT, a PON port corresponding to the optical path is switched to a corresponding PON port on the second OLT, and a fault notification is sent to the far-end network node. After receiving the fault notification, the far-end network node switches a data flow of the PON port corresponding to the optical path from the first transmission path to the second transmission path.

摘要: A protection switching method provides a manner of transferring a protection switching message on an SRv6 data plane. In this manner, a first node can switch, after a fault occurs on an end-to-end transmission path of forward service traffic of the first node, a transmission path of the forward service traffic of the first node to another end-to-end transmission path, and send the forward service traffic through the transmission path after switching. In this manner, the first node only needs to store information about the another transmission path, and an intermediate node does not need to maintain a large amount of path state information and path configuration information.

摘要: A cell site gateway (CSG) determining method includes a first device obtains, before a first moment, a location range in which a mobile device is located at the first moment; and the first device obtains an identifier of at least one target CSG based on the location range before the first moment, where the at least one target CSG can provide downlink data transmission for the mobile device at the first moment. The target CSG that can provide the downlink data transmission for the mobile device at the first moment is further determined through estimation of the location range in which the mobile device is located at a subsequent first moment.
