    Abstract: A display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a black matrix disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of pixel areas arranged in a matrix, and each of the pixel areas has a plurality of sub-pixel areas. The second substrate is disposed on the first substrate. The black matrix comprises a plurality of row shading bars and a plurality of column shading bars. The row shading bars are disposed between the two adjacent pixel areas and extend along a first direction, and have a first thickness. The column shading bars are disposed between the two adjacent sub-pixel areas and extend along a second direction, and have a second thickness.     Abstract: A filter layer substrate comprises a substrate, a black matrix layer, a filter layer, a protection layer, a first photoresist spacer, and a second photoresist spacer. The black matrix layer is disposed on the substrate. The filter layer covers the substrate and the black matrix layer. The protection layer is disposed on the filter layer. The first photoresist spacer is disposed on the protection layer corresponding to the black matrix layer. The second photoresist spacer is disposed on the protection layer corresponding to the black matrix layer. A bottom surface of the first photoresist spacer and a bottom surface of the second photoresist spacer have a height difference. A display apparatus containing the filter layer substrate is also disclosed. Accordingly, the liquid crystal margin of the LC filling can be enlarged, and the problems caused by the stress and the external collision or vibration can be avoided.
