    摘要: An operating head (11) for a safety switch (100) includes a key-operated cam mechanism (12) and a plunger (27) contacting the cam mechanism (12) and extending from the cam mechanism (12). In the safety switch (100), the plunger (27) is displaceable between first and second positions responsive to the cam mechanism (12). The safety switch (100) further includes at least one securing member (127) interacting with the plunger (27) and displaceable between a locked and a released position. When the securing member (127) is in the released position, movement of the plunger (27) is allowed. When the plunger (27) is in the second position, the securing member (127) is displaced from the released position to the locked position, which secures the plunger (27) in the second position.

    摘要: A directional receiver is provided for an aircraft collision avoidance system. The receiver may include input channels that are configured to receive uncompressed linear analog signals from antenna elements that are arranged within a predetermined antenna element geometry. The receiver may further include Analog to Digital (A/D) converter modules, a quadrature converter module and a combiner module. The A/D converter modules can convert each of the analog signals to uncompressed linear digital data and output separate digital data streams that correspond to each of the input channels. The quadrature converter module can mix the digital data streams with corresponding digital reference signals to produce digital In-phase (I) and Quadrature (Q) streams.

    摘要: A feed mechanism for the singulation and delivery of multi-sheet documents. The feed mechanism includes a support surface for receiving a stack of multi-sheet documents, a conveyor mechanism for transporting a lowermost document of the multi-sheet document stack and a restraint assembly defining an opening for the passage of the lowermost document. The restraint assembly is, furthermore, operative to retard the motion of documents disposed above the lowermost document during singulation and delivery thereof. The feed mechanism is characterized by a contour generator disposed in combination with the support surface which contour generator is operative to generate an arcuate cross section in connection with the stack of multi-sheet documents during singulation and delivery. The arcuate cross-sectional shape is disposed a plane orthogonal to the feed path of the multi-sheet documents.

    摘要: A switch is provided with the ability to diagnose its own operation and provide signals that represent the actuation of the switch and various diagnostic outputs that indicate fault conditions or potential fault conditions with regard to either the switch or related machinery. A magnetically sensitive component, such as a Hall element, is used to provide an analog output signal that is representative of the position of an actuator to which a magnet structure is rigidly attached. As the actuator moves in response to an external force, the magnet structure moves with respect to a stationary magnetically sensitive component. The analog output from the magnetically sensitive component can be used to determine the position of the switch. Based on this information, a microprocessor provides a binary output signal indicating whether the switch is actuated or deactuated. In addition, the movement of the actuator can be compared to various thresholds to determine the operate point, the overtravel point, the total travel and the velocity of the switch plunger.
