    摘要： A pole base loading apparatus and a main chassis for a magnetic recording/reading device having an improved structure. The pole base loading apparatus includes a pair of pole base units for guiding a tape so that the tape is wound around a head drum as it reciprocates on a main chassis, a pair of loading gears respectively linked to the pole base units and gear-engaged with each other, and a loading unit for rotating the loading gears. At least one of the pair of loading gears has a hook installed therein so that the loading gear is coupled to the main chassis.

    摘要： A cassette housing assembly for a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus includes a cassette housing adapted to receive a cassette tape and having a locking lever. An X-lever supports vertical movement of the cassette housing with respect to a deck chassis. A locking member fixes the locking lever to retain the cassette housing is in a down position. The locking member is made of substantially the same material as the X-lever, such that abrasion of the locking member and the locking lever is substantially prevented. The locking member may be integrally formed with the X-lever, such as a drawing boss or a burring boss.

The reel clutch device has an elastic member mounted in the lower side of the reel disk; a reel washer mounted between the elastic member and the reel gear to be in frictional contact with the top surface of the reel gear; The reel clutch device and method further comprises a reel plate mounted to be in frictional contact with the bottom surface of the reel gear; and a reel stopper mounted on the lower side of the reel plate, and for adjusting a gap between the reel disk and the reel gear in order for adequate friction torque to occur between the reel washer and the top surface of the reel gear and the reel plate and the bottom surface of the reel gear.
