    Abstract: A magnetically enhanced oil filter apparatus includes an oil filtration assembly which includes a filtration assembly base having oil inlets and an oil outlet located in the filtration assembly base. A flow director shroud is connected to the filtration material support bracket. A top portion of the flow director shroud extends over the filtration material.     Abstract: A magnet assembly apparatus is provided for attachment to a portion of a motor vehicle, such as the top of an oil filter canister or an oil pan member. The magnet assembly apparatus comprises first and second bottom magnet unit reception cup members made from ferromagnetic material. The cup members include retention pin reception channels. A plurality of first magnet units are placed in the first bottom magnet unit reception cup member in a first magnetic polarity orientation.     Abstract: An oil pan containing a magnetic filter apparatus includes an oil pan member having a magnet assembly reception channel. A magnetic filter assembly is received in the magnet assembly reception channel, and attachment means are provided for attaching the magnetic filter assembly to the oil pan member. The magnetic filter assembly separates ferro-magnetic particles from oil in the oil pan member and traps the separated particles on the magnetic filter assembly.
