    Abstract: Disclosed is a membrane humidifier for a fuel cell, which can prevent, without a separate gas filtering device, performance deterioration of a fuel cell due to harmful gases during a humidifying process. The humidifier comprises: a housing unit comprising a first fluid inlet, a first fluid outlet, a second fluid inlet, and a second fluid outlet, wherein the humidity of the first fluid introduced via the first fluid inlet is different from the humidity of the second fluid introduced via the second fluid inlet; at least one first cartridge installed inside the housing unit, the first cartridge having a plurality of hollow fiber membranes therein; and a gas filter provided in the first cartridge or between the inner circumferential surface of the housing unit and the first cartridge so as to capture harmful gases contained in the first or second fluid.

    Abstract: A humidifier for a fuel cell is provided and includes a housing having, at a first side, a moist air supply port through which moist air is supplied from a fuel cell stack and having, at a second side, a moist air discharge port. A humidifying membrane is disposed in the housing and allows dry air to flow along the inside of the humidifying membrane. A bypass flow path is formed in the housing to allow a part of the moist air supplied to the moist air supply port to continuously flow to the moist air discharge port without passing through the humidifying membrane, thereby adjusting the amount of humidification and a differential pressure of the humidifier based on an operating condition of a fuel cell.

    Abstract: A hollow fiber membrane module includes a housing having an inlet formed one end thereof and an outlet formed on the other end thereof, in which hot and humid humidifying fluid flows in through the inlet and the humidifying fluid after humidifying a cool and dry fluid flowing out of the housing through the outlet; at least one hollow fiber membrane bundle which is inserted into the housing in the longitudinal direction; a partitioning part for supporting the hollow fiber membrane bundle and partitioning an inflow space, in which the humidifying fluid flowing into the housing momentarily remains, and an outflow space, in which the humidifying fluid momentarily remains before being discharged through the outlet; and a potting part for potting both ends of the hollow fiber membrane bundle to the housing.
