Abstract: A pocket hole jig system is formed of a plurality of jig segments, wherein each jig segment includes a main body having a drill guide and a lock feature that protrudes outward on a first side of the main body and a recess that protrudes inward on a second side of the main body. The system also includes one or more spacers that have a main body of varying width and a lock feature that protrudes outward on a first side of the main body and a recess that protrudes inward on a second side of the main body. Jig segments and spacers may be connected together by inserting the lock feature of a jig segment or spacer into the recess of an adjacent jig segment or spacer. In one arrangement opposing jig segments and/or spacers lock together with a combination of rotational movement as well as sliding movement.

Abstract: An infinity jig, infinity plug and a method of forming an infinity joint is presented. The infinity jig has a base with a work surface and an upright with a work surface connected to the base at an approximate perpendicular alignment. The upright includes a plurality of drill guides that are positioned such that a portion of a drill bit inserted into the drill guide extends below the work surface of the base. An infinity hole is formed by using a drill bit having a stop collar to drill partially into a workpiece with a portion of the drill bit exiting a connecting surface of the work piece. To form an infinity joint, two workpieces having infinity holes therein are aligned with one another and an infinity plug is inserted in the aligned infinity holes. The infinity plug pulls the two workpieces together providing a tight and aesthetically pleasing joint.

Abstract: A quick grip pocket hole jig system is presented having a support section having a clamp support, an end stop and a back stop. A clamping assembly is connected to the support section having a clamping rod that extends through the clamp support. A drill guide carrier having a drill guide assembly is connected to the clamping rod on a forward side of the clamp support. A clamp body having a trigger and a release mechanism is connected to the clamping rod on a rearward side of the clamp support. The clamp body is a quick grip clamp body that facilitates quick gripping of a workpiece positioned within the support section. The clamping assembly includes a return spring and a release mechanism such that when the release mechanism is actuated the drill guide carrier and the drill guide assembly are automatically moved to a non-clamping position.

Abstract: A handheld powered pocket hole drilling system is provided. The system includes a base assembly having a plate. The plate has a drill bit opening extending through the plate. The system includes a drilling assembly and a drill bit connected to the drilling assembly. A drill guide assembly is operably connected to the base assembly and the drilling assembly. The drilling assembly is movable along the drill guide assembly to extend and retract the drill bit through the drill bit opening at an angle. An actuating assembly is operably connected to the drilling assembly. The actuating assembly is configured to move the drilling assembly and drill bit between a retracted position and an extended position. In some arrangements, the actuating assembly moves a drilling assembly and drill bit rearward and downward to the extended position and a handle of the actuating assembly is moved forward and downward.
