Abstract:
Provided is an electronic apparatus that efficiently executes a setting change after setup completion. A reservation information management unit manages reservation information including a reservation date and time of a setting change after setup completion set by a setup terminal, and an IP address and/or a default gateway. A system control unit, after receiving a notification from the reservation information management unit indicating that the reservation date and time have been reached, executes a process of a setting change according to the contents of the setting change. In addition, the system control unit, after receiving the notification from the reservation information management unit, causes a panel unit to display a reservation notification screen, and after receiving the start of the setting change via the reservation notification screen, executes the process of the setting change.
Abstract:
Provided are an electronic device, an information management program, and an information management method that help reduce the amount of memory for job information. An MFP (electronic device) has a job information generating device which generates, for each job executed by application software, job information including settings used by the application software that executes the job, and an access managing device which manages, when the job is executed, access to the job information from the application software. The job information generating device duplicates general job information including general setting items to generate preliminary job information, accepts, for the job, values for setting items included in the preliminary job information, and then generates the job information such that it includes, out of settings included in the preliminary job information, only settings used by the application software.
Abstract:
Provided is an image formation device with which expanded is easy and the development cost can be reduced. A device control platform manages hardware resource in an operating system. A standard application service interface unit provides an interface for utilizing a standard application function from outside of a standard application execution unit. A platform service interface unit provides an interface for utilizing hardware resource from the outside of the device control platform. A standard function service enables the use of the standard application functions corresponding to the standard application service interface unit. An expanded function service enables the use of the hardware resource corresponding to the platform service interface unit. An expanded application management unit manages and executes expanded applications capable of calling the standard function service and the expanded function service.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a touch panel that detects operation point coordinates of touch input by a user and a line-of-sight detection section that calculates the coordinates of a gaze point on the touch panel at which a line of sight of the user is directed in a specific time range from a time point of the touch input on the touch panel by the user. The electronic device further includes a line-of-sight correction area calculation section that calculates a line-of-sight correction area in a specific range from the coordinates of the gaze point on the touch panel. The electronic device also includes an operation coordinate line-of-sight correction section that a) changes the operation point coordinates to the coordinates of the gaze point if the operation point coordinates are within the line-of-sight correction area; and b) does not change the operation point coordinates if the operation point coordinates are not within the line-of-sight correction area.

Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device, including: a display unit that displays, on one screen, a plurality of objects to be selected by a user; a line-of-sight detection unit that detects visually-recognized coordinates on the display unit to which the user's line-of-sight is directed; an object visually-recognized time period calculation unit that calculates a time period during which the visually-recognized coordinates detected by the line-of-sight detection unit fall within a range of the object; and a selection exclusion unit that excludes the object from candidates to be selected by the user if the time period calculated by the object visually-recognized time period calculation unit is longer than a time period threshold value and a frequency at which the object is selected is higher than a frequency threshold value.
